Sorry about the last minute notice about tonight, I know we make other plans if not playing. Only posted on the off chance anyway, I didn’t find out till a friend cancelled plans we had.

Im a bit surprised actually, since im the most readily available player here before tonight. Actually I think im the most flexible person out of the 4 of us, if that means I have the least of a life then so be it, but ive certainly not been inflexible. I havent had trips to make in the middle of games (besides the toilet), skipped dates, ever been late, or fallen asleep.

As ive always said, if i know enough in advance I can make solid plans to play anytime, but for you to be disappointed in me for not being flexible for a game that was arranged on a whim in 30mins is a bit rich.

I wasnt even aware the 4 player was on until i posted then, if we had arranged the 4 player yesterday for today at 7:30 i wouldve allowed nothing to interrupt the game, but this game was arranged in 30mins, so its hardly the same.

If a 2 player was to be played i wouldve dropped out and let Barley and Toni start one, so thats at no risk of interruption either.

I will reply Maq….just don’t want us to get into arguments and there be bad feeling, as you say it’s a game after all.

I don’t think any of are free from reproach and accept that at some time we have all not been able to play for one reason or another. Rightly or wrongly it struck me as if you were being awkward at first you said you could play, then couldn’t but still spend time on the forums, there probably is more to it than that but that’s the way I saw it.

Whatever you think when ive not been able to play ive given a reason, on occasions you havnt youve just sited that you have other arrangements. My comments may be ill judged and if so I apologise for that, I just want us to play the game and have fun.

As I said before I think we all need to be more thoughtful and flexible and that isnt aimed at you but ALL of us. I was just a little bit peeved tonight, appropriately or not I couldn’t help it.

I don’t want to get into arguments with anyone and I want us all to get along and have fun playing the game.

Do I have to give a reason for it to be acceptable? I see some things as private, especially for a forum and Id like to keep em that way. I hope i dont have to give a reason everytime for my absence to be acceptable.

If it appeared i spent time of the forums then its because i leave apolyton in a window while im away most of the time, so you should never take that as a sign im free for that time.

I dont think any of us need to be more flexible, facts are, some things are more important than this game and Im not gonna ask questions of anyone of why they cant make it.

Im not asking anyone to be more flexible, because i know we all want to play when we can, we can joke about it but i think seriously asking more of people provokes bad feelings, when its obvious we're all already doing our best to continue the game.

Also the fact remains that todays game was planned in a few minutes. Ive said many times give me some decent notice and i can play any time. I saw Toni interested in a 2/3p this afternoon so i left myself open to other plans, assuming you and Toni would have a 1v1 and I go and do other things if that came up, those other things came up and then suddently a 4p game was on, how can i plan for that?
