I think its one of Lucases lesser stupidities. Thought that actor that did Vader in ROTJ, even if he had only a few minutes, could act circles around Christiansen, or whatever his name is.

It removes the comfort people felt in being able to watch the Original trilogy and not be reminded of the prequels. Though the fact Boba Fett now sounds like the Croc Hunter should slap them back to reality.

Well if people want to be comfy in their nostalgia which blinds them from the fact the original trilogy is similar in acting, dialogue, and plot to the prequals then they can just close their eyes during those parts .

Boba Fett was changed to sound like the Croc Hunter! I won't even go into how the Greedo scene has been butchered again or how the new scenes make Jabba's character incoherent.

Greedo scene? Much Ado About Nothing was probably written because of this little change which doesn't mean a damned thing.

New scenes with Jabba, so what? So he gives Solo one more chance to make good... what's the big deal?

There is nothing wrong with digitally restoring a 30 year old movie; Lucas didn't stop there, though; I can understand some minor changes, but he went overboard.
