Anyone who apologizes to the likes of France aren't Americans. Anyone who sits on here and whines and apologizes for America like Drachosor does, isn't American. We didn't just give the the middle finger to the world, we gave the middle finger to American hating apologists like Drachosor who feel they are somehow enlightened over the rest of America. So let me reiterate what the election results have very loudly stated: **** you Drachosor and your left wing American hating apologists, and **** you France and Germany and China for trying to influence our elections in your own self interest in your attempt to bring the US down to your level.

wow...some of you guys are idiots. Countries are going to do what is in their best interest. France was making a lot of money off of iraq. Of course they don't want us to go in there and blow saddam to hell. We, however, had other interests, and leaving saddam in power wasn't in concordance with those interest. So I don't think that we should ask france's permission or anyone else.
The simple fact of the matter is that the UN is completely useless in matters like these. No rogue nation is going to listen to there "mandates" because they refuse to inforce them. How many resolutions did the UN pass against Iraq? and they just wanted to give more time over and over again. There comes a time when you have to draw a line in the sand and say buck up or shut up.
And then they have the gall to complain when we won't give them contracts? if i were bush, i wouldn't have been nearly so civil about this. Of course we want to give the contracts to US companies, so the US companies can be taxed off of the revenue, and we can get a small portion of our 200 billion back. Of course we want to stimulate our economy instead of the economies of those nations who wouldn't help because they were making money off of the enemy.
France's greed and arrogance to feel they deserve such a thing was appalling.

It's quite hard to be neutral to someone who declares war and send U-boots to sink your ships, right?
EDIT: Notes to myself to read all posts before replying, so that I just not repeat what others already pointed out.

Yeah, but if I did that, I'd have to adore Canada for jumping to the aid of the allies before they were even attacked by the Germans.
For some reason, however, you never hear Canadians cracking that tired old "if it wasn't for us" line. Maybe because they're not suffering from an inferiority complex or the obsessive need to have everyone like them.
But if it makes you feel any better, I would hereby like to declare my official hatred for:
Spain (Relentlessly persecuting Protestants between roughly 1566 and 1795)
England (6 wars over who had the best navy between 1652-1803)
Portugal (Biggest economic competitor in the East Indies trade market)
France (numerous wars, including ones from 1672, 1685, 1747, 1795 and, of course, Napoleon)
Belgium (invaded in 1304, seperated from us in 1830)
Italy (Roman invasion up until the Rhine river)
Scandinavia (All you Northmen looting our shores)
Germany (1940-1945 wasn't the first indiscretion, you bastards!)
There. I hereby hate all those countries so that I can use the exact same reasoning to like America.
...
You know, I just don't have that much burning hatred to spread around. I guess I'll just have to judge America on what it's doing today.
