I have downloaded a save with extension .HTML once. Check if your extensions are displayed and if it SAV. Civ doesn't show other files in the load screen

Worked for me, and that is all that counts.

Fellow Senators, former Emperors,

I know it is the job of the new Emperor to start polls and get guidance but I see two issues that should be discussed on this floor.

I have completed my reign as Emperor of Rome. Spain is falling our way. The Carthaginians are running from us there as are the Celts. But Carthage threatens Olbia, and they are will to pay us for peace. See my results thread. We should consider this.

An off handed remark at the Three Weeds turned into the Classis Choreae Nubia, the Roman Yatch Club. With each Galley named for a Nubian dancer. I appointed Jagjef as our Navarch.

Should Rome make an effort to control Mare Nostrum by building a fleet? The position of Navarch is ceremonial at this point, but do we make it an official position? An official advisory position, a Consul of sorts? Or do we just continue this as a silly joke and name our boats with Egyptian and Sudanese/Nubian names? Let us discuss this.

[ BTW - I chose Egyptian and Sudanese names because the actual location of where and what Nubia (Numibia is also correct) was, is a bit of a controvesy. But most seem to agree that Nubia was the Southern conquered kingdom of Egypt, today's Sudan. ]

Actually I have word that there may soon be a special commision formed to answer some questions that have been raised regarding the actions taken recently in defiance or ignorance of the actions and requests of the Senate.

It is hoped that the parties that have raised these motions will be appeased prior to any official commision being formed.
