So you are assuming they don't do that already? As far as i have seen people with baggier clothing get singled out for tap downs typically, I have seen it happen to a group of Orthodox Jews from JFK to Brussles.

TBH most of these incidents sound like slightly pervy/powermad officers rather than a functional search.

I reckon if you're a mid 20's man of Mediterranean/Arab appearance who travels with a few others, yuo're guaranteed to get it.

I jsut don't think you can make one rule for some people and another for others, it'll least to problems. Innocent till proven guilty right, unless you're Arabic I guess.

How do you know the other snuck it under? What if she bribed security? What if security looked the other way? If one of the two got on by a bribe, I think it is highly likely the other got on by similar ways.

Imran, there is one glaring hole in your argument. No one is asked if they are muslim or not. How can we search every muslim male if we don't know who is or is not muslim? Instead we base it upon age, gender, national origin, citizen or not citizen, size of party, location, time of year, and other factors.

I've never seen anything to prove more then a few isolated cases of misuse ever occured. The media jumped on that because they thought there was a horse to beat there. The truth was these stops were satisticly insignificant. There was no vast conspiracy.

I figure the best way to screen potential terrorists is to check if they are circumcised, preferrably in a very public place.

Most people are circumcized for religious reasons, or are otherwise part of backwards parts of the US with low intelligence.

That way, we'd get the most bang-for-our-buck with profiling.

Further, this will ensure most young Canadians are unaffected.

I already told you that there is technology that can see underneath clothing and identify suspicious bulges such as weapons and bombs.

The problem is people don't like the fact that an outline of their private parts can be seen.

But surely this is better than being groped.

It's still done in California and I wouldn't call that state a backwards place with low intelligence. It's considered a good health and sanitation policy along with a religious tradition.
