No no... I like it alright. I just got bored and put it on the back burner during the trial on the water planet
I've started a new game and I'm up to there again. 10 hours played already. I'm not sure its even nearly possible to get through in one day.
The game is a bit weaker because of the limitations of making a crappy console version. I mean, the interface is a bit clumsy, especially the inventory screens, and the modified D&D rules are extremly simplified (and there's no option to show all dice rolls, a feature that all the other Bioware D&D games have) Oh, and the locked camera is a bit of a pain. I mean, there is a solid zoom/pan/free function in the Aurora engine, why disable it? Oh, because consoles don't have a mouse wheel
The story is top, the voice action is top, and the characters are great. The worlds look wonderful too.
It looks promising for NWN2, in a way, as long as they don't simplify compared to NWN.
Oh, and LIGHTSABERS

started a new game of the first kotor last night.
I play on the hard difficulty level of course. Normal is just not challenge at all.
I was dual weilding hand blasters or whatever they are called. I must say blasters suck ass . I'm really gimping myself. And consequently, I actually found a few battles to be challening at the highest difficulty setting. I died more than once.
I've heard of people doing mods. I just don't see why blasters are so weak compared to melee weapons. Zaalbaar easily kills more people than I do. I used an upgrade Carth's pistol and a heavy blaster. energy weapons should do more damage, plain and simple.
I have a str of 10, dexterity of 16 (at the start, I've been bumping this), const 10, int 14, wisdom 16, char 10. I started as a rogue or whatever. And then I moved onto consular. I allowed myself 7 levels of rogue. I usually only allow a few levels (enough to kill bendak starkiller), but I figured I'd gimp myself by not allowing as many jedi levels.
bendak starkiller actually went down pretty easy in this game. I took all my stims, dodged his 3 grenades, and then blasted him with 5 plasma grenades.
but I like this weak character. I actually have to plan my battles a little. I used to never assign actions to my teammates. But I have to in order to survive sometimes. I have tried using mines, but far too often the enemy won't follow you. And stealth won't allow me to get close enough to do much. I don't like the way stealth works in this game because it forces me into solo mode. I then have to activate my party, cancel solo mode and then bring them into the battle. I'm usually dead by this point
