Hive Report 2123
Spiralling birth rates coupled with increased drone activity forced unprecedented police action this year as several bases were subdued with nerve staples.
A statement released by the Hiverian Information Ministry read as follows:

Zak listened to the refuges stories of the horrories they barely escaped in the hive with dismay. Nerve stapeling, such tactics make the worst torture techniques of earths long history look plae in comparison. To intentionally cut someone off from their emotions to remove their ability to feel joy as well as rage. Not only had Lang or Chairman lang as the refugees said he was now styling himself survived the crash but he had brought the worst of chinese methods with him. "You will not find such tactics here" he told the frightened refuges "we keep our people happy through gentler means, but more on that later, right now I am interested in anything you can tell me about the land you traveled through, and how you survived"
Hope you don't mind me starting a little story from your report find such things only enhance the experience will do so every once in a while feel free to join in!

Let me know if hotmail is still detecting anything, because my virus protection detected nothing. On the first send though, it was on my girlfriend's computer and she had a couple adware programs she's since found and destroyed.

Sorry for the delay turn played and sent to arcan, hmm is he playing the gians in the 1 vs 1 as well? Hive vs gians that might be a one sided match...

Turn sent. I fear I will have already lost before I meet anybody. I checked out the Secret Project intel and it seems everybody in the world is working on SOMETHING. It's so bad that I don't even think I can compete with the BELIEVERS.
I'll just have to do the best I can on my own until I can find someone.

Turn sent to arcan looking back it seems lal did complete the VW in ten turns started in 2117 and finished in 2127. WOW. I don't think I've ever seen the AI finish a secret project before 2145 at the earliest. Will be interesting to see what there cities are like, haveing to change strategy because of the AI that hasn't happened in a long time. Good stuff! Like a little challenge.
Don't give up yet Arcan just think how much fun you will have destroying the AI when you meet them. Don't play the gains much but from what I've read there strengths seem to be in getting a worm army early, terraforming well early, and pod popping early (due to worms which can travel throuh fungus like roads) use planned to overcome growth problems. Hey its a challenge so it will improve our play!

The scouts managed to take 2 out before being killed. The base has been reinforced so should be safe now despite there being 5 worms still around, hopefully they'll just wander off up north.
