Well, I was going to root for the Vikings in the NFC since my dad's a fan of them, but not after Moss's 4th-quarter TD stunt.

My god, what an ass. I'll root for the Vikings again if he gets injured next week or hit by a bus or something.

That was completely uncalled for and incredibly unsportsmanlike.

One thing that this weekend has shown is that your regular season record doesn't determine how well you will do in the playoffs. Plenty of times 9-7 teams have gone to the Superbowl. There is a fair chance that this year an 8-8 team will go. There are 4 teams left in the NFC and 2 of them had 8-8 records.

This was the first playoffs, btw, where an 8-8 won a playoff game.

Ok, I did some more research. Aside from the 1981 strike shortened year, there have been only TWO 9 win teams that have made it to the SuperBowl and only ONE since the adoption of the 16 game season. Those teams are the 1979 LA Rams (9-7) and the 1968 Green Bay Packers (who were 9-4-1).

That's IT! Every other SuperBowl team has had at least 10 wins, even in the 14 game season!

They not only beat them. They creamed them. But if your Falcons don't fear my Rams they are setting themselves up for a major upset. The Rams have proven themselves in postseason play, unlike your team. A playoff game is much different from a regular season game. And the Rams have twice the talent that the Falcons have. Even my QB has significant playoff experience. Believe you me my stars with playoff experience (Faulk, Holt, Bruce, Pace, Williams and Archuleta) are going to take the game down to the wire. If the Falcons don't think so, they will get beat. You can take that to the bank.

I'm a Vikings fan and confidently predicted a Green Bay victory on Sunday. **scratches head** Huh. Just goes to show the Vikings are utterly unpredictable, for better or for worse. Now to get psyched up for Philadelphia.

They go to New England again in 2005 and again in 2006 before they (probably) play the Pats at the RCA Dome in 2007.
