I suppose ML*-ML* where * is whatever other element you want to throw in might be effective...

I'm thinking MLL/LML, for first round attack strategies, but the problem is that with 3x hit points, a cripping attack on first turn is harder now. The real advantage for the M order lies in 2 ship type fleets, like MTTMFF. The M command can also be used defensively, with MLLMMM, as opposed to something like LLT TFF, while only having lasers, which could be countered with balanced TTFFLL, causing massive counter strike damage. This is especially useful in reducing the risk of losing a attacks to zero if given good knowledge of enemy OOB.
MML type OOB are probably potentially capable of max damage, but it ensures heavy losses. In anycase, it now only causes a max of 2/3 damage due to the 3hit point rules.

A quick map of the attacks:
Three battles were simple occupations: Atragon's offensive fleet took Ljubeland, Hercules subjugated the defenseless Scots, and Doc sailed into Jamski's airspace.
Meanwhile, Gamecube and Jamski both rammed Jonny's shield, costing Gamecube three frigates, a cruiser, and 1 BP worth of damage. While Jamski's losses were lower in absolute terms, it amounted to his entire fleet, which also happened to be all that was left of the once great Jampire.
EDIT
Skanky partially vacated his base and attacked Doc, where his forces faced no opposition. Data and charts have been edited.
