If eddited in the first post of a topped thread, this should work well. Reporting first what happened last turn to initiate the next turns orders seems logic to me. |
The problem is as Rhoth said it's better to only have to browse one thread when seeing the turn, and you will often have variations from the orders that weren't discussed (or weren't explicitly decided on) based on other players' actions... I personally find it easier to see the actions of 3800bc at the end of the 3800 bc turn thread, and then start anew for 3750 bc ... but that's just me.
Either way, in the other thread ("Moves, Vol I") should be a short turn summary (not the full turn report but a link to the turn report and a short summary of anything important that happened, particularly if anybody was attacked or sighted or cities founded, that sort of thing) for each post. In fact, I'd say having the final actions in that post (then you can do whatever you want with the turn thread, put them in there too if you want) it can make it a lot easier to follow ... Rhoth, sort of like what Vox does but without the discussion between it, is that okay do you think? McM, I imagine you're trying to limit the work you have to do after already playing the turn (which is quite understandable, i'm sure Rhoth will empathise ), but I think this shouldn't take long really, just one post in that thread with the link to the turn thread ... and it would be more organized, I think ? Sort of something I wish Vox had done more religiously (had a just-moves thread, that when I joined I could have read and just seen the moves and nothing else, so I could easily have understood the actions the team took...)
