Ljube has offered to sell us the wheel at half-price, though I told him a deal would be unlikely. Thoughts? They also have a shaky relationship with Morpork. Morpork was trespassing and BOH threatened to attack.

Poly should secure us HBR and IW if we're careful to trade it to several teams at once so it doesn't get resold too much.

Otherwise... being Scientific, Literature would come in handy. Map Making doesn't seem like a huge priority to me since we already have Curraghs for exploration. I'd say Construction would be our priority of the remaining era-required techs. (Aquas=more support during either Monarchy or Republic). Literature might be even more handy than Construction though; it'll be a while before we can afford aquas, but libs are fairly cheap.

We plan on getting HBR from DR, so how about we god for Math and Philo, and we pay - say 60 gold for the tech point difference. They had originally suggeste 15 gold - (Poly is 12, Math 8, Philo 6), so we owe then two tech credits or 30 gold. But I am suggesting we pay it as 3 gpt, and sweeten the pot for them to cinch the deal. Ok with you folks?

The other point is if we hear back from the Lost Boys. If they have one of these techs, it would be nice to have gpt with a number of civs, and all flowing into Babylon. I will send 1889 a note.

3 gpt? Ouch. Full-price tech beakers only really pays off if we can trade it around as much as them. I'm not confident in that possibility, especially since Poly will probably empty the tech and/or gold coffers of the people trading with us already.

This is a small Emperor map, right? So that's 25 beakers per tech point. 50 gold if we pay them fully for those two points.

I'd say 1 gpt and 5 lump or something like that, unless we really think we can trade those techs around to make up for full beaker price.

I suggest we make a promise that our unit will not attack them. Unless there's a very jagged peninsula, we know the general shape of the coast, but it wouldn't hurt to map that area sooner rather than later.

Math would be good too.

We've had our troubles with BOH, but their capitol is quite farther away from ours. Assuming we can get this border business straightened out, we have much less inherent conflict of interest over land.

With our current neighborhood the way it is, there is a better balance of power. Do we have any idea if BOH will roll over them or get a real fight?

BOH is packing a lot of offensive punch if Krill's numbers are to be believed. Even if AM somehow fights off this wave, A) they will likely expend all their power doing it and will be exhausted should they survive, B) BOH may be capable of another wave, though that would probably exhaust their resources too.
