My suggestions on cummunications ....

As per the post-contact tech trade thread - we are trying to get Alphabet from them for some combination of techs.

The sooner you can seal a deal the better.

Also - can you find out what they are working on now - and try and lock in a deal for Mysticism.

And say that we are glad they are our neighbours. We are looking forward to a solid alliance with them.

Cool! It's good to be on the MSN, since it'll get you closer to your counterpart at their side. I find that private chatting with someone can really help in establishing and maintaining good contact.

rec'd from the Lost Boys via e-mail this evening. We need to clarify asap that we are only looking to trade for Alphabet. The other possibility is that we include bronze working in this trade - and get both techs we need. Would be nice if we heard back from the Morporkians first, as I still like the idea od splitting the trade.

The other ting we should discuss is a no-trade clause for these deals. That basically means that the techs traded for cannot be passed on or traded to another team.

Thanks GC. We are not bothering with the no-trade clause. Especially since we have just offered up Alphabet to DR.

Yep. We both seemed for the deal in this thread, no nays, so I went ahead and put our techs up accepted vs. Writing. They accepted the deal on their end and so far as I know, no correspondance.

We have a bit of a problem. We have Philo already. I think Euphorica sent it to us with the other techs they sent.

Now, according to the deals thread, we had a deal signed for Philo and 2 gpt from LB in exchange for Poly.

Since we have that deal, I'd say we need to honor it and accept 2 gpt for Poly?
