Along with that road, we need a border agreement and Info as to their stand in the DR war.

Don't want an easy land route between us, but if they are willing to go the route, we could do a sea route with Harbors (theirs are cheaper so it should be no problem with them). This will remove the need for a land route and road.

Ok - we need a reply to 1889 on the trade connection - and the border arrangement, although with the settling of Lake Ishtar, that would seem to be a moot point now.

Were we looking to put a city in south of Kurra - on the coast?

Also - depending on a decision on the larger startegic front - we may have to go looking for a stronger alliance. You may recall my earlier efforts to forge a stronger realtionship - and 1889 preferred to sit back and see. Typical vampires.

City south of Kurra: The only viable option I see is 3-3-3. We should probably discuss who gets that area (If anyone; while tiles are currently unitilized by both sides, it could be a De-Militarized-and-City-ized Zone).

As for 1889 sitting back and seeing: of course he's delaying to see who the powers are; and, if he is cooperating with DR, whether they survive. Once it becomes public knowledge that DR is being ganged up on by all three of us, he might be more interested in an alliance with us.

Edit: Don't know what to say on the trade connection. What's the team majority opinion on doing a road, people? It certainly would speed up invasion, but it would also speed up the trade connection.

Harbor, They get it cheap and we have one city that can do one. It will be a while, but so would a road. I estimate that they would be very close to the same overall timeframe. Plus, the Harbor would allow us to trade with some of the others, too.

Although, we need to try to Lock in any kind of Trade deal, as they (and everyone else) have a small surplus of each Lux, so we need to get them while they are hot....

Oh, let them know that we will be having a Harbor built in around 18 turns (hopefully less) and that we are more than willing to trade via that route. We don't have to worry about any Barbarian Piiracy (SP) as we will have no problems with that (i.e. we are next to each other and barbs inbetween will not be a problem).

Update: Euphorica offers Construction accepted.

We can trade our free tech, keeping the alliance about on tech equality and peaceful, and we don't have to trade other's techs to LB.

Unless there's something I'm missing, I'm going to accept Const from Euphorica...

Edit: NM, I'll hold off on both for this turn. But we do need to figure out who we're getting it from.

No. We had a deal with Eu. Accept it Const from them. I forgot about that, or didn't realize it was so soon. That was a big part of TNA.

I'd like to do some trading with LB though. Is there something to offer?

Should we agree to the road? Offer gold for their harbor?

I don't want us to always tell LB, "Love to do business with ya but sorry we are not interested now."
