If not true, then .. I don't know. I'm not any kind of author, I didn't live then, I'm not American etc. I wouldn't say protesting against war is being a traitor, I wouldn't say, that even asking sympathy for the enemy is being a traitor, but then again there are limits how far you should go doing it. Should you go into that country, pose with your enemy and smile, if they aren't exactly boy scouts, and we do know what gang they represented so they were not TOO good to be smiled over like that. So yeah.
But if that story is true, I must say that is being a traitor, and TO PUNISHABLE DEGREE! That is not only letting down some folks, that is.. I'm out of words. What a b1tch. No wonder people don't forgive her after all this time.
