Dabo!

Another death I have to report. The list grows longer. A tampered hypospray killed Ishka when Dr. Bashir attempted to sedate her in preparation for her incarceration into the brig.
After confining the remaining suspects into Quark's bar, in our rather desperate bid to ferret out the last remaining killer, Dr. Bashir had the brilliant suggestion of a few rounds of Dabo. Once Brunt 'confiscated' brandy worth a few slips of latinum from the remaining stores of Quark, the session grew rather rowdy and raucous. So much so that after the Nagus celebrated his 5th straight Dabo, a rather frusterated Worf started to shove him.
A fight ensued, and after Odo isolated the two instigators, I searched around the floor and found a capsule of poison, the smoking gun that we had been looking for quite some time.
Worf immediately accused the Nagus of possessing both the capsule and the intent to use the capsule. He insisted that obviously the capsule had fallen out of his pocket during the beginning of the brawl. I was not so sure, since no one could tell who had what and when. The debate raged on and on, without any further progress, until a disgusted Ishka admitted to the capsule, just to end the argument.
Interestingly, just as Ishka admitted to doing so, many of the others in the bar chose to accept her rather reluctant and perfunctory confession as far more valid than the accusation of the Nagus. Citing evidence all the way back to the death of Garak, they recalled how she had once been the prime suspect.
The party under Worf scorned the allegation and said that it was the Nagus all along, and now his wife, because she loves him, was sacrificing herself for him. Eliminate the Nagus, and we shall be at peace.
Given the deadlock, Jadzia suggested a final round of Dabo to decide. Letting the wheel spin and spin, with only two possible outcomes, either dabo for one, or dabo for the other. As the wheel slowed, and the ball began to bounce, and not a pin drop could be heard in Quark's bar. Lodging itself firmly on the white square, the Nagus had once again, not only Dabo, but life, evading his fate. Bashir sedated a disconsolate Ishka, in preparation for her arrest and trial.

Once again, I must report our failure to apprehend the killer on DS9. Obviously, the killer had more than one capsule than the one that fell out of their pocket in the melee in Quark's bar.
Jake Sisko is dead, and now all of the Siskos have been killed. I cannot think of the motive to eliminate Sisko and his family first. Jake had brought with him an ancient device called a pen to help pass away the time. The pen had been laced with poison, which as he would put in his mouth when looking for a word, would cause him to ingest small amounts.
Over the course of the evening, Bashir finally noticed that Jake wasn't feeling very well, but by that time it was too late.
I could order everyone to strip naked, but a clever killer would plant the poison in Quark's bar during our time here, when no one was looking his way.
One thing that did catch my eye, was what Jake had been writing about. He talked about the changes in his father since he had became appointed emissary. Originally, he had struggled greatly, but he had gradually grown into his role. Jake figures the wormhole aliens change people's minds to change their personality.
I'm at a loss here, and I pray the Prophets will pass me guidance.
