It isn't the story, so much that I am trying to strike a balance between allowing folks who do get busy to still be able to vote, and between keeping the game going.

You do know I LIKED writing as Kira. Now you killed her, bastards.
Chief Officer's Log, Dr. Julian Bashir:
After the abject failure of her attempt to finally capture the murderer among the crew, a disconsolate Kira sat alone, no longer willing to play Dabo or to chat with the others. As a Doctor, I could not help but to observe the seeming onset of depression, and to be honest I am only surprised that it took so long for Kira to manifest these symptoms, given her complicity in the death of Captain Sisko. As her Emissary, and Kira who truly believed him to be the Emissary, I can hardly hope to fathom her guilt.
Since Kira succumbed to her somewhat disturbed state, I have assumed her role in temporary command of the crew. 4 others, in particular, regarded her isolation and somewhat disturbed mind with peculiar alarm. Like Ishka, in order to protect the others, I have injected Kira, knowing full well that her fate shall be the same as Ishka's. Of course, if Kira proves to have been the murderer, then the greater good would have been served.
Given the lack of cohesion among the crew, I am sure, if Kira was not the murderer, that the murderer will take advantage. I can only hope to notice whatever suspicious acts others conduct, even as the crew imposes upon me the same minute scrutiny.

Chief Officer's Log, Dr. Julian Bashir:
As my precursors wrote, so shall I. Rom is dead. It draws much suspicion on a few of the remaining Ferengi. Someone must have slipped poison in his drink, as I can think of no other possible means by which the poison could have been introduced into his system, in the usual lethal concentration, and not the more diluted concentration for Jake Sisko.
Comparing the samples from all the previous kills, it seems to me, that the killer is working through one stock of chemicals, given the usual consistant dosages, unaltered for each victim. From that, I also must conclude that the killer wants us to find his victims, and for them to die quickly enough, so that there can be no remedy.
My primary suspect would have to be Brunt, given the interest of Brunt in Quark's Bar, and his original purpose to be on the station to crush the union organised by Rom.
I can't help but return to Kira's comments before I injected her. She kept babbling on about those damn wormhole aliens. 'The prophets must somehow be the key to all this.' I cannot recall who among the crew, after the death of the emissary, would have had any contact with the wormhole aliens...
