Oh damn! I allied everyone to the Barbs but didn't think that it was necessary to ally the Barbs to everyone.

I'll do a quick fix and zip it up PDQ.

I never realised that!

Since their is no contact between barb and civs, the barbs can attack, but the civ does not react!

Actually, that could be useful in some other scenarios!

Once the new versions are made, I will replace my game files and get cracking with the diplo tweaks!

OK, here's the new zip. Unfortunately, I could not figure out any way to control Barb units to see if they would attack another civ.

The best that I could do was to give them some aircraft, set the game to no human player and watch the game for a while. There were no warlike incidents involving the Barbs.

Interesting to see the Germans capture Plymouth and then London.

I assume that you realize that the D3 world is one immense armed camp. Wow!

Interesting to see the Germans capture London or Plymouth,
normally the AI is hopeless and gets a right royale kicking!

With the new unit stats, things might get even more interesting...

Now my next task is to fix the diplomacy and see how the war pans out...

Oddly, the AI has been pretty well-behaved so far!

The USA landed a group of M3 tanks in France a turn after war was declared with Germany!

They got a kicking, but that kind of madness is what I want from the AI!

Sorry for the delay, but I have been playing a few games myself
(till the end of the scenario) to iron out bugs and
problems...

I can say the fun/insanity level as the Commonwealth and Chinese is high!

Pretty hard to challenge the Axis, who are scary powerful!
The Soviets are right hard to fight when they get going too!

One more test as the USA and I will post a zip!
Played on top difficulty level this should be a fun game....

While playing and watching the AI, I have made a list
of the best ways to handle each civ. The main things to
build for each civ is the APCs, artillery and bomber types.

Follow up with naval attacks if you have them and cover
your tanks and troops with fighters. Strike fast and don't
give the AI a chance to recover...Kick their bootays!

Battle plans:
Japan - Conquest of China as fast as possible, then consider war with the Allies.
Germany - Cripple the UK, crush Russia as fast as possible, be ready to fight the US.
USSR - Develop better Soviet weapons and prepare for possible total war.
British - Fight off Germany and concentrate your forces on individual enemy cities.
Commonwealth - Assist the US/UK and take out weaker cities in Asia/Africa.
USA - Get into the war fast and crush the Axis with droves of units.
China - Hold the fort and hope the Japanese slip up.

Play and kick some Axis/Allied rear, and tell me of any bugs, glitches or disasters.

Your play experiences and feedback are totally important to me, so please fire away!

I will rush to fix any bloopers that have been overlooked,
but keep in mind this version is almost a total remake,
so there is a tiny chance some gremlins may have slipped in.

But if you tell me where the bugs are, I will do my best to EXTERMINATE them!

In CIV2, you sometimes get this pop-up, due to the AIs trying to communicate...

Usually the war rages on.

It is a game.txt feature that will change...

Well the addition of China to the ranks of world nations has helped the atmosphere of the game considerably, and I like the new Commonwealth flag as well.

However, I still think there should be one more Canadian city between Vancouver in the West and Toronto, Ottawa and Quebec in the East. Say Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Edmonton or Calgary even.

Great game overall though, it definalty lives up to your standards. Now the wait can begin for the ToT installments of Vendetta, Soviet Steel and possibly Kaiser as well.

Yes I too am well aware of the official commonwealth flag. Between the Blue Banner Curt provided with Dictator and the factual Commonwealth flag however I would have to say I prefer the Blue Banner, as it portrays the Union Jack itself and therefore the implied relationship with Britain.
