About other than military solutions - well you haven't read all of the thread
You are right in that lousy top management can mess up a lot, but even perfect management can't improve geographical and logistical problems.
Glad to see that Kuci's mention of those 3 bill women out there didn't disturb you |
BS
You have theory, that's it.
Here's the deal:
1) Iraq is f'ed up
2) Osama runs free
Tell me exaclty what IS going right?
So apparently there is much competent administration going on, as even many Republican Senators have said publicly many times.
We should have had tunnel vision from day one on tracking Bin Laden. Now you never ever hear about him. The American People should have demanded daily updates and this should have been treated as our national priority every single day until he was found.
The response I expected should have been the most massive manhunt in the history of the world.
Instead we have a botched operation and a sideshow hogging up all the best resources. Since you mentioned the "rest of the world," the "rest of the world" pretty much disagrees with everything that is going on.
I can work 2 jobs, that's great, but it's likely that I will be mediocre, AT BEST at those 3 jobs. Had I dedicated myself to only one, my performance would be much much better.
It's common sense, check into it.
Thanks

So I guess its just your inability to read English thats to blame.
But your point on Michael Moore is taken, and I agree he needs to learn to keep his mouth shut. |
Yep, he might have done that, but he is an english speaking person - or more precise, an english thinking person.
I know and agrees upon that the common language here is english, but there is quite a difference in reading a language and how you think when you are reading/writing.
This site is pretty international, so you can't expect that every participant complies to english (or should I say american) thinking, so even people from those countries has to be clear in their writing - if not they risk to be looked on as moorons (some of you are, but that goes for a certain percentage of all people ).
I hope that you can see my point.

1) Iraq isn't some garden party, but to say it's f'ed up is a far cry. Some jerks didn't realize that simple things such as secure and rebuild water and power from day one would have made wonders.
2) Yes, and he will as long as he keeps his ass out of areas where he can be caught.

And that is not happening ? What do you want ? That FBI sends agents to Pakistani/Afghan border and CIA to the Iran/Afghan borders ? What you want can't be done except you send in millions of soldiers and start a couple of wars.
The comparison with a single persons ability to do several things at the same time just doesn't make any sense when talking about organisations. Especially since it's not a military object to locate OBL unless they stumble over him - it's a job for the intelligence organisations (well, if these organisations find him, it may be the mili that do something).

Less than 250 Americans have died lookig for Osama (counting only those killed in Afghanistan) in the last 4 years. In 4 years 250,000 plus Americans died in WW2.
See, its a simple time/lives equation. |
Wow! That's great news. Now we know that we can solve the Osama bin Laden problem with fewer lives lost than in ww2, 'cause I'm sure he's gonna check out in a lot less than 1000 years. Should we cash in on this dividend and go after some more terrorists?
