$3.15 for 92

Well, this is at the gas station closest to my house. I usually go by those prices. It's a Chevron. I'll try find an article in the local newspaper about the results of the gas cap.

I dont think gas cap prices are going to help. All it will do is make the shortage of gas even worse.

Man, your gas is still dirt cheap. You are only paying the economic costs (maybe), but there are other hidden costs that should be covered by taxes.

PEI has controls on gas prices. Wholesalers are refusing to ship to PEI.

one litre will go for 1.50 euros soon in here.. about tomorrow or day over tomorrow.

LOL!

****!

So, multiply that with 3.8 to get gallons, that's 5.7 outstanding euros per gallon. To dollars, that is..

little over 7 bucks a gallon! TADAAA!!!

And it's normally at 1.3 anyway so it's not like this is huge difference. DAmn it...

your prices aren't much more higher than ours. Our 3 states (Hawaii, California, and Nevada) have the highest gas prices in the nation. So don't act like you are alone. I'll laugh when you are stationed at Edwards airforce base and pay the same amount for gasoline.

I for one am finally glad we get our gas from California. I used to think we should get it from Arizona (who get's theirs from the gulf). Arizona gas is cheaper than in Nevada. But I think our gas supply should be in good shape because it comes from California. Your gas probably comes from Californian refineries as well. Be thankful.

You've been keeping up to date with what I'm doing! Solid. I have new respect for Dis.

But from what I've heard, our oil comes from Alaska and SE Asia, then is refined instate.

Ok, anyone who complains about gas prices should look at the HI, CA, NV Triad. But I'm hoping I'll be stationed somewhere in a foreign country with the Aussie ladies.

yeah that makes more sense. As it would be very dangerous transporting gasoline (although I'd imagine that's what has to be done for very small pacific islands). It makes more sense to have refineries in state.

and you'd have to lobby for an air force base in Australia.

If an increase of $.50 a gallon has a large impact on your life you are either burning way too much gas, or earning way too little money. Probably both.

Seems over 2/3rds of the gas companies have been gouging the eyes of the public. Raising prices to make a pretty penny of a ****ing tragedy because they can. I wondered why gas prices went from 3.oo to 2.79 in one day again

Gas seems to have ended up topping at $2.99/gal for most of the state. I wonder, when they get the refineries and rigs in the Gulf working again, if they're going to drop the price back down...somehow I doubt it...

The cheapest I saw was $2.94/gal in Clarksville (Murphy*USA, in front of Wal Mart Supercenter off the interstate), which would be $2.91/gal with a Wal Mart shoppers card. I think they sell near cost, just to attract people to the store....but hey I'm not complaining

Because the spot and futures market went down $0.21 in one day, as the Europeans are releasing a little less than a million barrels a day of refined products for use in the USA.

Ah yes, the prices seem to be getting closer and closer to £1/litre...I smell profiteering though...I don't see how problems in the US in terms of refineries affects the UK as this has no negative affect on the price of oil (and probably a positive one if you consider that the demand for crude may be slightly slowed).

Well the price for a barrel of oil I believe is $65 (USD). I have seen prices raise as oil prices rose. But many oil companies are reporting record profits.

Well, we in Atlanta had a few stations that were closed for 3 or so days because they ran out of gas.

It's because the oil companies are shipping over refined products from Europe to the US. So there's less in Europe too.

I can't help but think about Suez. Why should we bail out the US?

All those comments about "the president's just doing his job...looking out for the interests of Americans" everytime he screws the rest of the world. Maybe we should be "just looking out for Europeans"?

Fortunately for American drivers, we aren't that mean spirited and arrogant.

Not sure how much it's the government and not the oil companies anyway. F.ex Royal Dutch Shell has a refinery in New Orleans as well that was affected, so if they send over refined products from refineries over here there's not much we can do i guess.

Its not in Europe's interest to see America's economy tank. Plus Rotterdam makes more money selling its refined goods to the US. So both sides of push-pull make sense.
