	Yugoslavian Military Reforms Enacted! Avatar Enlargement: We've got the solution

Under the directions of General H Tower from the Republic of Apolytonia, the Yugoslavian military reached another milestone in its quest to become a force in Europe. All the infantry units in the new republic were retrained and given new uniforms that properly denote the troops nationality as a reward for completing their training. General H Tower was quoted as saying, "Those who would plot against the slavic people should be wary, the military of this great country stand proud and ready to turn back even the most determined assault by a hostile nation." Asked his plans for the future, the general said that he was putting together a cryptography group that would allow him to keep track of all the interesting developments in Europe. However, the general also stated that the probablility of success of his cryptography group was quite low and that he would probably just have to read about European events in the news paper like everyone else.

This month saw a shift in focus from porduction to food collection. The hilly areas of our country do not provide lots of surplus food. We have begun to implement new agriculture techniques to improve our crops' output. As well, the city of Triestse now has a full compliment of 3 trade routes, and construction of Jugoslavia's 1st Stock Exchange will be completed there next month. Also, a coal shipment from the city of Graz reached its destination of Berlin this month.

Presidetn Ioannes attended the first flight of the newly formed CEU Air Defence Initiative also known as the CEUADI (pronounced 'q' aid-ee, much similar to the middle eastern state). Truckers Take Deture

Truckers still on their way to Istanbul have another deture on their hands. This time, engineers were transforming the land, making the rail route impassible. 'We just couldn't take it, so we're spending the night at Thesolinika' a weary, but now very cultured truck driver said. When they'll arive is anybody's guess, but don't hold you're breath, these guys have been on the road and rails for quite a while.

The City of Pressburg will finally get its rail bypass. After years of being the bottleneck of the area, CEU engineers have finally arrived. 'Yeah, I know we need to clean up polution, but this is way overdue' commented a local citizen.

Sorry henrik, by the time i read your message id already played the turn. Oh well next turn.

Not much happened this month, an alliance with germany was signed, finally, the dreadnough HMS Empire is almost ready and should be finnished by the new year. Many battleships left their german counterparts in the baltic said to be heading for the north sea. The sailors said they were sick of sauerkraut and dances.

Having completed a two-tile rail bypass at Venice as emergency labour, and with the arrival of the Turkish labour brigades, the Jugoslavion workers set back to their wives and families, eager to spend their overtime pay.

In other news, the cities of Belgrade and Trieste are experiencing such population booms, that we've started constuction of new, high-tech sewer systems which shall take us into the future solving our fecal disposal needs.

A shipment of Machines is expected to arrive at Genoa next months as well.

Coal a Bad Trade
and dirty too

Trucks of CEU coal entered Istanbul two days into the new year, only to sell their coal at a loss. Even though Istanbulians demanded coal, the merchants were unable to sell it due to the relatively warm weather of that area. After the whole fiasco of getting the cargo there, the whole trip brought a miserly 210 gold. And thats not after expenses. President Ioannes is highly considering double checking with foreign dignitaries about the possible profits that could be made before letting the merchants set out.

CEUAD Grows

The Central European Union Air Defense has inagurated another flying machine nicknamed the Hummingbird due to the hum of its engines. It will be making its maiden voyage over the alps.

The Department of Economic Activities have investigated the current scandal over a measily $210 million earned off of the latest trade agreement of coal. Although The Germans say 210 million is measily, the Turkish treasury itself only has 79 million.
Anyways, we have came the the conclusion that although Istanbul is producing 67 trade arrows, maybe the lack of any income improvements like a bank, caused the drop in coal prices......
And also because maybe its hotter than ass in the streets of Istanbul....

Anyways.....alls well that goes well in the Turkish Nation

The HMS Empire finally set sail this month. The pride of the british fleet, she outweighs and outguns any heavy ship of any nation on the sea at the moment. The Empires course is first to the german fleet in the north sea for some manuvers.
After these manuvers, and pending the results of such, the Empire will be heading to the med with its escort of 6 Battleships. This is not to be seen as provocative, even though we will then outnumber every nations fleet in the med.

After more than a years journey, the long-awaited russian convoy of manufactured goods yesterday passed peacefully through belgian territory and finally caught sight of the city of Rheims. Another russian convoy is still stuck in the forests of Jugoslavia. Apparently the truck drivers thought they were taking a short cut thru the forest, not foreseeing the dramatic improvement in russian rail systems taking place during this last year...
