General H Tower accepts control of the Russian nation.
Invited to inspect Russian Army tactics and equipment earlier in the year, before hostilities broke out. General H Tower was caught in Kiev when all government of any kind broke down, he was a mere spectator of the war which has decimated the country. After Nicholas stepped down and fled into exile, the military in and around Kiev was without leadership, and asked the General to take command. The General accepted their offer, and sent out courriers to the remaining army groups and all cities to notify the populace that a new leader had emerged. After Tower had received support from several wide spread units and the few cities with a government remaining, he approached the german high command and agreed to an immediate ceasefire with a treaty to be negotiated soon.
The General has his work cut out for him however, not all military units have been willing to accept orders, several officers of his majesty's imperial army have declared themselves ruler and have turned back all emissaries of the General. There have even been confused reports of units vowing to fight on against the Germans, following the czars last orders. Gen. Tower remains confident that he will bring the renegade military units in line. "I'm worried that so many cities of this once great nation have not even the most basic form of government to protect our citizens," he was reported to say at his first staff meeting. For the moment the General can be reached by foriegn dignitaries at the 1st National Bank in Kiev which is housing the new government temporarily. It is strongly suggested that visitors come with a well trained security detachment as the city has not yet been restored to order.

Russian military units have abandoned their blocking positions along the Moscow-Warsaw railroad in the hopes that German troops will begin to withdraw. The last remnants of the great army which captured Berlin are moving out of german territory as fast as possible across the countryside, avoiding german rail lines. All withdrawn units are attempting to restore order throughout the nation. As the russian people begin to prepare for the new reality of life after the Czar.

Nicholas declared a criminal in Russia
The newly formed Committee for State Security has put out a warrant for the arrest of ex-czar Nicholas for high crimes. Ministry of Defense reports that were evacuated from Moscow show how it came to pass that so many Jugoslavian troops are serving in the Russian Army. The Czar had instituted a secret plan to train young russian boys to act as Jugoslavian troops. Taken away from their families' soon after birth, they were taught only how to speak Jugoslavian. When these boys became men, they were dressed in Russian manufactured clothing that looked identical to the ones used by those of the Jugoslavian Army, and sent to secret military bases in Asia to await a war. The sole purpose of these troops was drive a wedge between Jugoslavia and Germany, and therefore the Democratic Alliance and the Mediteranean League.
In the last several months, Nicholas had stepped up the training of these "Jugo-Slavic" troops and completely abandoned the training of normal Russian conscripts for the Jugo-Slavic forces. It is a sad day for Russia as mothers across the nation learn the fate of their sons who were taken away from them at birth. It is feared that their intergration into normal Russian society will be difficult as these forces do not speak the mother tongue. While Germany has fought with only 1 regiment of these forces, more than two dozen remain! Together they make up a signficant portion of the Russian Army, especially since they had been held in reserve while traditional Russian onscript regiments were used to assault Berlin and in the defensive effort before Moscow, severely dwindling their number.
Information on the whereabouts of the criminal Nicholas are currently unknown, although he is believed to have fled the country to escape the breakdown of society when the German Army marched into Moscow.

This month saw Andreas Kleshnikov delighted to release the information that Jugoslavian citizens along with the Italians make the highest anual income per capita. We have identical incomes of 392 golds per capita. Furthermore, he announced Jugoslavian productivity to be only second to the British. He found this to be particularly noteable, due to the shambles of a nation Jugoslavia was only a few short years ago.
The neutrality of Jugoslavia has lead to the lowest military service on the continent. The expertise of General HTower still resides in the military after the re-organization, and our boys need only to spend 2 years in service to their homeland.
All in all, this has lead to the astounding approval rating of 75%. No other leader in Europe enjoys such harmony with their poplulace. Kleshnikov's positivity fo rthe future was contagious as he ran off the impressive figures for his nation.
At the end of the press conference, Kleshnikov then announced the arrival of a shipment of Coal from Sofia to the wartorn city of Moscow. Whether under control of the CEU or the Russians, it was the tattered inhabitants of the city which this shipment was intended. Cheers exploded from the crowded peasants filling the streets.

We also have a proposition to the CEU.
Due to the end of the war, we feel that opening our rail hubs to your units is again allowable. However, we request that you arrange for the Russians to hand over the city of Galati to us. Galati is clearly within the Jugoslavian sphere of influence, and truly should've been granted to Jugoslavia from her birth. It would make the Russians/ Jugo border all the more tidy. I also ask this of the Russians, but seeing as they are going to be signing concessions to the CEU, I figure asking the victor in the war to be more proper.
If the CEU can arrange this, we shall open our lines again, which in effect opens the lines of the entirety of Southern Europe to the CEU.
Attatched is a screenshot showing the Galati question, and its geography of it.

Russia will continue to wait for a reply to our ambassador. The matter of Galati also needs to be resolved. The General will gladly use the extended period of time to continue working on a plan to salvage the russian economy.

English deliver slap in the face to Russian people!
It has just been released that the Foreign Ministry has received additional demands from the English which go further than the already negotiated ceasefire and the almost completed peace treaty. The Russian government has been negotiating with the German leaders in good faith under the impression that Germany spoke for all of the nations that were allied against Russia in the past war. And just when the treaty is about to be concluded, the final, exact wording achieved, and signatures to be signed, the English throw their demands on the table and stall the entire peace process. Russia will not suffer this injustice silently and calls upon the other nations of Europe of to urge England to withdraw her demands and apolgize for her error in judgement.

Russian Leader gives Turkey the finger
After receiving the english demands at the peace talks, Gneral H Tower immediately called a recess to to the negotiations and drove to the town of Sevastpol where he stood on the beach and lifted the middle finger towards the direction of Turkey and its leader, the Sultan of Turkey. He was quoted as yelling, "You want to to be a part of the peace talks and impose terms? Then You damn well better come out and fight next time!" How dare you think to impose terms upon the Russian people, we will not stand for this!" Following his tirade, the General returned to Kiev to continue to attempt to bring peace to the countryside.

England protests at being painted as the breaker of the natural peace progressions. It was Englands understanding that the "demands", as you put them, had already been arranged with the Germans. When I, Mr Smith, spoke to Ioannes Schroder on the HMS Dreadnought, I voiced exactly the same demands and the German President assured me that this would be met by the honourable Russians.
However in case you do not wish to acceed to these generous terms the British Army has been put on Standby, the Navy will close to your ports, bombard your cities and sink your fleet and then The British will claim what is rightfully theirs.
Diplomacy with teeth, definately. And as for a slap in the face, the russian people should be kicked until they are down on the floor, then kicked some more until they can never rise again and threaten the peace again. The Rape of Berlin was one of the worst atrocities in the history of the modern world and you ask us to forget. Not a chance.
