henrik had to edit the events text because it got all garbled at some point and we had some events that didn't trigger which we wrote in to happen again, but other than that i believe we are using the regular version. unless some other txt file was edited so that jugoslavia shows instead of france...

Jugoslavija fails to see the need for Spain to be part of a European Parliament...or an independent nation for that matter.

Very good H-Tower.The soon to be new administration of the United Kingdom welcomes peace with the great nation of Russia. The transfer of Stocholm is a great stride forward for world peace.Seeing your good faith should be an example to all of the European nations.
BTW-I have the diplomacy utility if you want to transfer that way

London Times-A vote of no confidence in the former prime minister of the United Kingdom resulted in a sweeping away of the former administration. The new head of state is virtually an unknown. His name is beingofone.[strange name]
The nations of Europe are all curios as to the inclinations of this unknown.Some say hawk,others say dove.Time will tell.Some may even be doubting the competency level. He has been known to have trouble posting files.:}
Already several statements have been released by the young government.
1. If Spain is to be excluded from any form of representation in a world forum. We agree with only one stipulation.Yugoslavia and Italy are also excluded.
2.We also agree to a two legislative branched system for a world forum. We suggest that it should be based on 1 vote per million[as per census] for one house.2 votes each for Germany,United Kingdom and Russia,1 vote each for Italy,Yugoslavia,Turkey and Spain for the second house.
3.The grievances with Spain shall be listed in this public forum by the Governments of Italy and Yugoslavia or the United Kingdom shall take steps to secure Spains right to self determination.
4.The government of turkey should show restraint as per our naval deployment,we are attempting to resolve the disputes among the states of Europe.

New Brittish Prime minister starts off by searing Diplomatical relations with the mediterenean league.
After Yugoslavia's President's comment following Spain's lack of interest in the Council proposed by the Mediterenean League, which has not yet been commented by Italy. The new Brittish Primeminister Mr B. of One declared that if Spain was to be excluded both Italy and Jugoslavia (though for reasons that remain hidden not Turkey) should also be excluded from such a council.
In response to this the Italian President, mr H. Lohmandero in a public statement said: "This council was originally envissioned by us. We where the ones to get both Germany and Russia to agree to a modell for how it should work. And it has allways been our intention for it to integrate all of Europe's nations.
While the Yugoslavian president did in a hasty statement point out that if Spain didn't like the idea she could stand outside of the council, this was by no means the official Mediterenean standpoint. Diplomatical Attaches are being sent by mediterenean nations and Russia to explain our reasoning and to persuade Spain to come around to our view.
However we will not have Brittain force feeding ultimatums down our throat! Russia and Germany have allready agreed to one system, what about this system is not to the liking of Brittain? Perhaps she should further consult with her German allies, as currently the country's while allies seem to have different standpoints on this issue.
The Mediterenean governments has had no quarells with Spain and Brittain would do well to not create a conflict where there isn't one allready."
It is clear for all journalists present that the Italian president was very agitated at the clearly aggresive action Brittain has taken on the issue of the European council.

I was simply pointing out that Spain is the least important nation and that Case should be quiet and follow his leader as Jugoslavija does with Italy.

The government of Britain may have been to hasty in its appraisal of the European situation. Our foreign Secretary's office was under the clear impression a state of war existed between Spain and the nations of Italy and Yugoslavia.[thats what the game shows].We were only attempting to restore the respectability of Spain as a sovereign state. We issued statements based on the only intelligence available at the time[as none here would respond to my repeated attempts at getting a synopsis]
The government of Britain is concerned as to the full mobilization of the Turkish army on the border of Egypt. These types of military deployment could leave us with no other conclusion, other than the talk of peace is mixed with hostile intent. We are ready for peace with all parties that are sincere.

I tried to post this last night but by bloodly computer crashed.
Spain continues to see no need for a European Council and will not join any such organisation. The only reform that Spain is interested in is the removal of all Med League tarrifs so that Spanish goods may be delivered by ship to ML ports.
-----------
This month Spain's industrialisation has continued in leaps and bounds, with several new factories and mines being opened across Spain. The Spanish government is proud to announce that Spain now boasts the third highest levels of productivity and annual income in Europe.
