Now that I think about that, it has some disturbing possible conclusions, such as, it would be easier for MtG to make all the decisions for us, etc.

A place(s) of worship for the theists would need to be decided upon democratically. I would argue that they be allowed to have a place, but I retract my earlier statement about giving in just because it's easier than letting a conflict break out.

So would I - but in response to the original question, they would have to build their own chapel if they wanted one and lost the vote.

My guess would be a civil war. Since everyone had just arrived at the same island, it'd be difficult to determine property rights, so there probably would be demand for Chegitz's democratic council. Of course, there also people used to letting Ming and MtG run the show, and so there would also be people who would want to maintain traditional authority. There would be a civil war between those who favored the democratic council and those who wnat Ming as supreme leader.

Personally I think we'd start off as a big group, but within a year we'd be slowly branching off into factions and groups. Obviously the initial leadership would attempt to prevent this, and would prevent some, but the strong and most intelligent would be able to break off if they so desired, IMO.
