Which is why we must avoid a communist state, no matter what. That having been said, I think the island should be run by a Council with samplings from the various political factions on the Island. A "General Assembly", if you will.

As Che has said, it wouldn't be communist in the same way that Soviet Russia was. It would just be a society based on co-operation. It would be the only real solution; capitalism wouldn't work in such a microcosm.

that is not the communist solution

the communist solution would be to have everyone come together in a group to figure the best way to have a large gene pool and to not cause problems by outlawing nature

anyways, communism has been shown to work well in small groups (of several hunderd per say)

I'm just tossing out possible solutions. Perhaps, each male gets to sleep with a specific women until she becomes pregnant. Then his breeding is done. This would help create the largest possible gene pool for the future generations.

There would still be risk. Let's say that, for instance, 10% of the women (would only be 1 or 2) had a dangerous recessive gene. That would definitely come out in later generations in great abundance.

Honestly, it would be too small a community to keep you restricted to that purpose, when we'd likely need the labor of everyone for a while to keep things going, until we understoo our island better and how to coax its resources from it for our use.

Probably the best solution is to let the women have as many men as they want or don't want, and the rest of us will have to each other for recreational comfort.

I would not turn to another guy for comfort

there would be no need to restrict the girls to that prupose

but it would be advantageous for thme to be continually pregnant
