Thanks, it would be really helpful if you would.

Another thing that would be really helpful would be to be able to locate particular units/cities/etc. on the mini-map, but I'm sure that would take a while to do. Though if you were going to do a big update in the near future I'm sure that would help a lot of us out.

Okay, sounds good. All you'd need to do is just put a dot on the map for whatever unit/city/etc. is selected. Just scale the X,Y value of the city with the size of the minimap... but I'm sure you already know how to anyways, so I'll just wait until you get it done. As everyone else has said, thanks for all the great work. I'm sure the CMT will end up being the first Scenario Editor for Civ III.

1. did you get the PopUps (one telling about the FoW reset (OK/Cancel) and one About keeping City FoW (Yes/No))?
2. What is the text in details?
3. Could you see if your c3mt.log has anything in it after the latest update message?

I got a message telling me that it would reset FoW except for 9 tiles for each unit (OK/Cancel), then a message about city FoW (Yes/No), and once I click on that then I get that error:

When I put it in the Civ III folder and ran it, said yes, it didn't say anything (it even said nothing when I put it in another folder and said yes). If I say no, then it always says "Something is wrong with your Civ3 install, try to reinstall the game." I get those 2 responses wherever I run the program.

Then, like I said, if you say yes nothing happens.

If you say no, then it says:

"Something is wrong with your Civ3 install, try to reinstall the game."

This occurs whether or not you run it in the Civ3 folder or not.

Then I just hacve fond your problem: You are missing the Civ3 registry key, and that way the tool (and probably the patches) don't work. Have you tried to reinstall?

It takes long time to add features. You need to know that it will work, you have to test with old saves to see if it will work with old versions or has to be disabled.

Also the effect of edited rules has to bee looked in to. It takes time, and I don't always have time to add things. I'm constantly working on to find out more about the saves. Lately it has mostly been compablity questions I've been looking in to.

Time for a teaser of the new tool member. It isn't working yet, but I hope to have it ready this weekend or during the next week.

The translaters have a version with all strings to translate, so I hope to have the translations ready by release this time. I've also fixed some bugs while working with this. More info later...
