Well Kenneth MacAlpin was the first king of the united Dalriada and Picts, and the Scottish line continued from him so he's a contender.

Unless you want the last king solely of the Picts....

No, it was Kenneth I was thinking about, or Ciniod as he was called before he was christened.

The last king soley of the picts was Drust son of Ferach btw
