Hardly. But you're right. Maybe I should change majors because biology does interest me when I get in arguments like this. Mutation - often ends up being worse. Plus, I don't care how many mutations you get, you aren't going to evolve as much as they say things have in any number of years. You could go for infinity years and it wouldn't evolve that much. It requires a lot of faith on your part to believe that it could.

Oxford degree in Biochemistry here. Doesn't require faith at all. Evolution is a painstakingly slow process...billions of years is very, very slow...and remember, mutation generally has deleterious effects, only a small handful have a positive effect. And remember, mutations don't necessarily mean that the DNA sequence changes and voila, you have a completely novel protein. Remember that most proteins consist of very distinct motifs shared from protein to protein and that new proteins seen throughout evolution are not the result of a painstaking point mutation of every single nucleotide but rather a duplication and rearrangement of DNA as such, and thus proteins which may possess whole different properties. Remember, the actual generation of these proteins was the slow bit. Hence the jump from very basic organisms to the present point was in the 100s of millions of years and up to there was billions. Besides, this is besides the point, this thread is a discussion on homosexuality.

Now why is homosexuality a sin? Explain...you haven't backed up your argument in the slightest except for spouting dogma and rhetoric.

I didn't intend for it to make just a whole lot of sense, but anyways, ever since you've been spamming this thread, it seems that Asher has left. Ah well. I kinda respected him. I have little respect for those who call me names rather than trying to argue their point with some sense. So I don't intend on giving you anything intelligent to read when you give me nothing intelligent to read either.

Why? Because I have a different opinion? Yes, we believe in freedom for all, and the right to one's own opinions! So we will ban those who disagree with us! If I get banned for anything I've done in this thread, it is because the mod's are closed-minded fools like you that can't stand being told that they are wrong.

Fine, I'll spell it out for you since you can't figure it out yourself. Why do we punish murderers if GOD will punish them? Because they damage society. Homosexuals damage society too. Sure, they don't kill people, but they bring society down with them by destroying moral values that are widely accepted in certain groups. Just like you don't want to deal with what you call "intolerant" people, I don't want to deal with homosexuals parading pride for their sexual status.

Edit: AND I don't want them telling me that what they do is okay and fine, just like you don't want me telling you that it isn't.

OK- I'll bite - how exactly does me sleeping with other men bring down society? The Greeks had a pretty decent society and they were extremely encouraging of homosexuality.
