I combine the attitude of an American with the alcohol tolerance of a Canadian.

There's no need to be jealous of that, paiktis, I'm sure many American women love bears like Greek men.

Jesus Mark, what have you been drinking?!

What did the US take from Russia? From China? From Bosnia?!

The US became a world superpower by offering immigrants freedom they sought, by developing technology that allowed it to move ahead from most of the world, and by building a massive modern military.

It has absolutely nothing to do with social politics such as the death penalty.

ooooook.....

It does have to do with freedom, except the idea behind the death penalty is what occurs when you lose your freedom in the first place.

Since most Americans don't commit crimes warranting the death penalty, most Americans don't feel it infringes on their freedoms.

You'd have a perfectly valid point if it was legal for the US Government to randomly kill civilians on a regular basis, though.

We're not talking about pride or anything like that.

This discussion is about how you feel the need to troll Americans about every little issue, even when it has nothing to do with them.

You seem to think Americans would care (or should care) what other people in the world are doing. Historically this is not the case, and it's certainly not the case now. I don't see anyone from America saying "Wow, Turkey has done this. Turkey is always right. We shall do this to. Who cares Turkey only did it to get into the EU? Hey, maybe WE should get into the EU! Turkey did it!".

I would suggest you stop being so obsessed with America's domestic politics, it's borderline pathetic that a Greek student continually makes topics trolling America.

Makes someone wonder just how much of an inferiority complex someone has!

if you see wrong in people around the (more unified every day) world discussing about the policies of the world's superpower, whose actions affect everyone, then how would you characterize the need of a canadian to "defend" the US?

So you feel the need to protect the life of someone who murders many people?

What do you say to the people's families of those he killed? "I'm sorry, but this man deserves to watch Seinfeld in his cell for the rest of his life. He doesn't even need to have a job anymore!"

Marky...your statement was regarding the reasons for this thread.
I then apply it to this thread, since that's what you were providing the reason for, and suddenly I'm doing something illogical?
