once again: justice should not depend on any kind of donations(money or time) or any efforts by community groups or how many lawyers you can afford or anything like that |
what is the difference between something provided by the community and soemthing provided by the government
I can think of one important difference, the community cares, while the government (As it is set up now) does not
There is no difference between the government doing something, and the community doing somthing, becuase the community is part of the government
justice always has and always will depend on the community (and it doesn't depend at all on how many lawyers you can afford becuase to put it frankly most DPers can't afford good lawyers at all)

An innocent has people fighting for their side
people who care about what happens to them
this takes down the chance that someone will be wrongfully executed to acceptable levels
I personally am much more worried for the average guy in prison, there are not near as many groups for him, and he is likely to have similiar (or worse problems) with justice than those who get sentenced to death

the thing is that the suppport the community will give to someone will be MORE than what the goverment would do.
therefore some people will have MORE help in their case, creating injustice |
Yes, people who get sentenced to death have more people looking in on their case, so they get more support than the average Joe in prison. Therefore those that do not get sentenced to death get less Justice than those who are sentenced to death. That is unfair, maybe everybody should be sentenced to death.

They should not imprison innocents for life either. And this happens far more often.
