I would hope that if we can correct for whatever we did to cuase the global warming... either by reducing industry, or some other method of reducing global warming gases that we'd be returning the planet back to how it was before we... "invaded."

I would argue that we should take steps to limit the damage by launching a solar shade. We can't just turn back the clock, and I would be firmly against any attempt to put Planet back 'the way it was before' (though I have no problem with the idea of having reservationsin which the environment is left alone), but we can try to limit the damage to ourselves and the environment.

Again, i still believe in letting wars come to us, while still maintaining quite a defensive and mobile force.

About the environment, I do agree that we should go green and minimize as much as possible any pollution or ecological damage, but i don't agree at being green to the extreme and becoming zealots like the believers.
besides, from some of the theories and reports on mind worms, they are the worlds anti bodies and anti-polluter police, so we don't need the peacekeepers to do that as well.

As for the PLanetary Council, i suggest we push for Planetary GOvernor and take control of the Mission of colonizing this world and protecting what is left of humanity.

Have not been in this thread for a while but glad to see a mature approach to the environment and native life beginning to take shape.

Even from General Tacticus. It will not shock citizens that he is a prime suspect in the serial killer enquiry. But I can't say much more at the moment. It is possible we will take it to trial.

I wonder somewhat at the impartiality or lack thereof of this investigation, given that the chief investigator seems to be hell-bent on pinning the crime on me, without any evidence, and is also the sole member of the STEP. a party which has as yet been unable to answer criticisms of it's policies.

that sounds all right to me. But maybe not ALL techs. depending on which faction it is, we could give them tech that wouldn't be that beneficial to them...and in return, we'd obtain tech that would vastly improve our faction.
