I have not played a single game of Civ2 since Civ3 came out.
There is no comparison. Despite the mistakes and weaknesses, Civ3 is clearly the more interesting game.

CIV2

For some strange reason, I get tired of playing Civ3 after a while. That never happened to me about CIv2. Maybe I´m old, but I guess is something about the rules, the units and cities spawn, the excess of animations (that became boring with the time) and the lack of artificial "inteligence". Not to talk about the new combat system (spearmen can destroy tanks again!!), and the "Pancho Villa style" armies, mixing swordmen and nuclear missiles in a single army. That problems where present in CIv1, fixed in CIv2 and it´s annoying that they could appear again in Civ3.

Porque yo no compraria hoy en dia el civ 2, ademas de que los graficos son muy malos, la estructura del juego es muy anticuada y civ 3 añede elementos muy atractivos. ademas yo he votado lo que pienso, ptw solucionara todas mis quejas.

¿Que la estructura del juego es anticuada? Pero si es exactamente la misma que tiene Civ3, solo que además permite hacer escenarios mucho más completos.
