Harvard Professor Noel Ignatiev has written in the latest issue of Harvard Magazine that the white race must be "destroyed."

". . . keep bashing the dead white males, the live ones, and the females, too, until the social construct known as 'the white race' is destroyed, not 'deconstructed' but destroyed."

What is this "white race" social construct? The guy seems to think that white people are the only ones who have any kind of racial identity that favors themselves and that it should be destroyed.

Why does Harvard support such vicious racial hatred?

Abolishing the superficial notion of "race" is laudable, but focusing on any particular race in an effort to do that is contemptible.

The way I read the article, Ignatiev would probably argue that all successful blacks are also "white."

Further, by his logic African blacks would be perfectly justified in calling all American blacks "white."

Bottom line: if you have more status than I, you're white and it's permissible for me to hate you.
