eli, i am going to make inquiries...they traded me in after the first week of this age..... we have had alot of fun.....and although we have only one war win, we all know how hard it is to actually get some one to give up.....

anyways i will be in touch, we had a guy get deleted, one guy gave up b/c of the alliance talk, and we just killed off one guy who was inactive.

you would be valuable to our kd....

as would zops, but he doesn't want to come with us *grumbles*

Yep.

It took a while, the idiots refused to surrender but after reducing all their province but one to less than 1000 acres(two of them were 2000+ acres big, only one left) and sending a dragon, common sense won.

Is anybody else experiencing weird things in the game lately?

I have:
1) During the last War, I had an Aid shipment from my King partially destroyed by Explosions. The only thing was: neither one of us had Explosions casted upon us!

2) Today I wanted to take a CB of an Avian, but my CB-attempt was reflected back upon me. The only thing is: Avians cannot cast Reflect Magic!

There are ways to make a newbie to feel he sucks at the game and therefore make him want to leave. Like stealing all his money on a daily basis, something that you as kingdom mates cant do, but I can.

well i am not sure now damm noobs, one got deleted, one defected , one we killed off.......

most of us are going into vacation mode till the 27th...kinda sucks, but with all our big attackers taking a break its the best thing we can do for our kd......

this may take until the next age........kinda how it happened to me last age, i wanted in there for half the age, then a week into this age, voila, an account..

be patient, we will find a way to get you in there don't worry

we could use another great player....we lost two good players and an idiot, i just wish the idiot would have given up his account, we have had multieis create, but not answer and then delete....

but we will get you in there lol

eli, try Showstopper, the elf at the bottom of our kd....the other new guys we got seem to be doing well in a short amount of time.......that could be the only spot until the end of the age, although a few of the smurfs are weak, but unless i speak to my queen and king, i can't say what we will do about them yet.

showstopper is new....i am in vacation mode today as of 4pm...until 26-27 th or so.....but i will be around on icq...tell him your a friend and want in the kd, if that doesn't work, raze his a@@

Explosions doesn't show up in your Mystic Advisor spell list. Neither do a couple of other spells like Pitfalls.

At one point during our kingdom's war with Monkeys, I reached the top 50 in the world for honor for the first time ever. I lost about 700 honor to a grab late in that war, then lost more with our surrender.

After our war with Monkeys, which we surrendered after three days of brutal conflict from both sides, the Kingdom went through an overhaul. Two of our biggest provinces defected after we asked them to leave for not working with the Kingdom. There has been a change in the government structure within the Kingdom. We now have a monarch, 2-province royal council who are also the reserve monarchs, a thief/mage leader (me) and an attacker leader.

We only have about 22 active provinces at the moment, but that doesn't seem to matter as we will shortly secure our second war win of the age. Our attackers flattened the enemy kingdom, with something like a 15 to 1 attack to defense ratio, and my usual Leonid-strength meteor showers caused a lot of havoc. (That faery with 30K beastmasters stranded at home is really going to hate me.) For the first time this age, I successfully took on thief provinces with meteors and my almost 16 mod WPA showed them why a good wizard ratio is essential when I landed both of the ones I attempted.

The Myth alliance are interested in how my supermage strat is faring, and if it goes well next age several provinces will be using it.

it should show in the news when you send aid or have aid sent to you....otherwise no....you would have no idea its there IIRC

I combine 2 TPA with maxed watchtowers and happiness that stays at Happy or above. Maxed watchtowers mean that I stop thieves 3 times in 5, and the 2 TPA makes it impractical for a Rogue-personality attacker/thief with 1 tpa to deal much damage.

It's a risky strat, but it works. The beauty of it is how it turns people's reliance on Utopia Angel's thief and wizard estimates against them.

People see this in Angel and think I'm a badass thief.

I usually take down the tpa by 1-1.5 and raise the wpa by 1-1.5 to get a more reliable interpretation of Angel's estimates, but your case is pretty extreme

oh yes .. it's great having a strat that exploits other people's laziness. They copy the info needed into Angel and out pops the numbers. They assume that Angel's numbers are accurate, they get lazy, and they usually don't stop to think.

What's even better is the watchtowers. A thief goes in with ops a few times, gets caught by the watchtowers, and that's it - they assume that Angel is correct, that I have a good thief ratio and don't bother to investigate further. After all, Survey and Infiltrate are difficult ops, and there's easier targets elsewhere....

So far this age I have lost 64 wizards to assassinations.

yup , i don't even use angel for attacks...i just multiply by 1.2 if they have forts and 1.3 if its a monarch...never fails....

I suicided yesterday for no good reason actually, leaving 30 dpa behind, i didn't get a retal
I decided not to train anymore def specs, they die to easy, so now i'm stuck with only 49 max dpa, and 117 acres incoming
I'll have 47 dpa at 1402 acres when my army is home..

Another war ... and they are trying to assassinate my wizards. I have lost about 5% of my wizards. 20% watchtowers do much tho to put a stop to that nonsense.

My mages were not significantly weakened, and I was successful in casting Meteor Showers on two of the so-called thief/mages that tried the assassinations after I lost the wizards.

Time for more damage, I think ...
