One way is to click on control panel then private messaging on any page. If you access poly via the apolon/net/forums and you have your cookies on (so it knows you're you) just scroll down and there's a section about whether you've got any PM's.

While you are at the control panel, you can also select "yes" for the "Pop up a box when you receive a Private Message?" I guess it will bring up a new window every time you receive a PM. I use the email notification so I am not sure how well this popup-based solution works.

jshelr mentioned that he prefers to communicate about the game (like doing negotiations or heads-ups for next turn) in email. I was going to use PMs but I don't mind email either. What do you prefer?

ELI you're up to bat in both games I suggest you update to 1.14 and then we update prior to playing our next turns. How does that sound?

If Eli does update and then plays we all have to be 1.14 prior to starting our turns.

I'm having some technical problems with updating... And it seems that those problems will continue, at least for 2-3 days...

Game onto delmar. JshelR did you update to 1.14 prior to this turn? If so it played fine. I didnt update but I have it.

Eli is it an email problem. If so maybe we can figure a workaround. I was thinking yahoo briefcase but they have a max file size of 5Mb.
