99 times out of 100 when there is a computer error, it turns out yours truly made the mistake

But, on getting files from Eli awhile ago, both files he sent looked like earlier turns of games and not even my turn.

When I repeated the process, the second time the right turn loaded up. Something similar happened recently and it might be some sort of bug. I'm passing this along in case we run into that again.

In short, if the name of the file looks ok, be persistent.

Put an end to popups!

It worked fine for me. There have been reports of weird behaviour when loading a PBEM game without going back to the start screen.

I saw some interesting PBEM threads over on civfanatics. They set up the first post as a kind of summary of the game and whats happening. I think its an interesting idea especially for the PBEM 'starting/ongoing' thread that people should be checking. The down side is that you may give away info/intel that you may not want divulged i.e. if your war with another civ is going poorly and are ripe for the picking

Anyway, if you have any comments that you think are interesting and want to make public put em here and I'll post them on my first post on that thread.

Another variation on this would be to keep a diary of events that could be posted when we move into the next era's. That way you wouldnt have to post really recent stuff but it could still provide interesting reading.

Any thoughts?
