Since we only have one NES running... I've decided to bring on a new one.

Giovanni’s Drunk Never Ending Stories 2 – The Age of War

It is the year 1900 Europe is having one of his longest period of peace, but this unfortunatly will soon change.
Many European nation are now big colonial empires, but the late nations (Italy and Germany) could not make in time to forge a big empire, and now everything had already been taken.

Only a few nations are not in the Control of the Europeans: Japan, United States, the South Americans and a few African and Asians

Rules:
- 2 real life days = 1 year (this may change if people wants to)
- Keep it realistic (very bad events may happen to your country if you are not)
- Every now and than I’ll post events which will affect a nation, this may be bad or good, depending of the roll of a dice.
- Have fun and write good stories
- You can do everything you can do in RL, your only limit is your imagination.
- I will do the diplomacy for the NPC countries

OOC: jdd can be Japan if he wants. I'll be Argentina instead. Also, GW, are you familiar with the history of this time period? Will you thus include events like the Mexican Revolution (which could really cause a stir if someone takes Mexico)?

To Brazil: I propose we make an alliance and annex the other nations of South America.

To Uruguay and Paraguay: Join the United Republic of Argentina or face its military might!

To CHile: We would be interested in making a Union of our two great nations.

To the US: We would like to ally with you.

Oh, two map corrections that should be made:

Yup... many historical events will be included as well.

The Mexican Revolution too.

And if the Game goes fan enough also the Communst in Russia, Fascist in Italy, Nazist in Germany, Dust Bowl in USA, Hirohito, Mao, Depression.... many many events,

So it will be up to the player to deal with them a best as he can.

oh... and thanks about the borders... I forgot about the French-Prussian War when was making the map

OOC (Giovanni can correct me if I'm wrong): Eastern COngo is controlled by Belgium. Trying to take it is an act of war against them. The white areas are not unclaimed areas like they are in some NESs, they are just small countries that are not controlled by anyone.

To Chile: Agreed.

To Brazil and Venezuela: Nearly a century ago, Bolivar liberated our nations from the evil Spanish (OOC well I guess not brazil but oh well). His dream was a free and united South America. That time has come. Our three great nations must integrate the other nations of South America into our free nations, and then take steps to make our nations united in all but our governments.

Steps have been taken to increase the Argentine military to medium in 2 years. However, as a result the economy will fall to Stable. In four years (from now) the economy will have recovered again.

To Paraguay and Uruguay: WE would like to apologize for the threats sent. It was our Foreign Minister disobeying his orders. He has been arrested for his actions and will be punished for threatening your great nations. What we would like from you is an agreement in which we defend you from any outside threats. In exchange, we would like to have free trade with your nation and use of your bases for our military (sort of like vassalization in EU if you're familiar with it)

OOC: Um, it's 1900...airplanes don't exist yet. I think it's reasonable that airforce construction becomes possible starting in 1908, and even then only recon planes. Giovanni, what do you think?

Argentine forces have stormed Paraguay. Some Paraguayans continue a bit of guerrilla resistence, others enthusiastically support their new rulers, but most reluctantly accept to join Argentina.

In one year Paraguay should be fully integrated as a province of the Argentine Republic.

To Brazil: Uruguay is yours if you want it.
