Chinese Projects:
New tank design complete.
(secret)
The tank's main gun is 120mm. It also has a foward 50 cal. machine gun on the main turret. The Armor uses depleted Uranium making most anti tanks weapons useless against it(simmular to the armor in the Abrams M1 A2 tank), The tank can reach speeds of 35 mph. It uses computers to controll the firing of the main gun so that it can fire well moving. It also has smoke screens that it can deploy to help hide it.
It is now entering battle field trails and will be put into mass production in the next year.
Night vesion and Thermal vesion project: 4 years
investimited into computer reseach: The government is now giving billions of dollars to private companies to devolope their own mircochips(will not steal anyones designs, but our scientist are visting computer science departments in Germany and USA.) IT is hoped that Chinese companies can soon compete with the growing German electronic industry.
THe Moon project is going anlong very nicely, with the first Chinese growing into orbit. More flights will be made to test the equiment that will be need to make the final trip to the moon over the next few years.
To USSR:
We see the finaly pockets of resisentence falling. Soon our lands will once again belong to their rightfull owners.
To World:
We see that many nations are trying to produce more and more nuclear weapons, and more powerfull ones as well. We request in the name of peace to draft a treaty limiting the production of these weapons.

Germany - Diplomacy:
To China: We will support you in your efforts to bring about nuclear disarmament. While a nuclear arsenal is the ultimate mechanism of defence for a nation, the proliferation of nukes in a tense international environment may well bring about the apocalypse.

Germany - Economy:
Noting the rise of competetion in other nations, the German government has increased the state subisidies to the elctornics industry even further, cutting tazes and providing state funding for research projects. The industry is now the single largest industry in Germany, growing at a staggering rate, and the products of it are revoltuionising productrion in the res tof the economy as well.
germany - Production:
As a result of recent advances in computer technology, German scientists made breakthroughs in the ABM project. Limited defence capacities are avilable already, verified by the test-firing of several missiles form the Middle East, and Full capacities will be available in abotu five years. As matters stand now, Germany is efffectively invulnerable to any nuclear attack smaller than Medium. Full defence will increase the upper limit to Large.
Germany - Internal Affairs:
Police recently arrested several Islamist terrorists from Egypt attampting to blow up the Bundestag and bring down the German government. As a result of this, they have managed to break up a large terrorist network within Germany, who had a number of terrorist actions all in an advanced stage of planning. The police force has been strengthened, but otherwise no action has been taken in response.

As the Egyptian army has launched a moderately succesful campaign to bring Ethiopia and Somalia back under their control, several divisions of German roops, supported by the air force based in the Yemen, have moved in to support the local militias.

They are available to any any operations in Germany, so your own companies are free to make use of them as long as the project for which they are being employed is taking place here.

German investment throughout the world, powered by vast profits from the oil and electronics industries (especially the recently-tapped reserves in Somalia), is increasing rapdiyl, with many areas in which it has taken place virtually owned by German coprorations. The main focal points of this have been France, China, and the rebel-held areas of Egypt.

With the increasing threat of terrorism creating a climate of fear in Germany, police pwoers ahve been furhter boosted to assist in counter-terrorist operations and troops have been placed on high alert in every area within striking distance of Egypt, with more being moved in. The border on the Sinai between Egypt and Germany (or Israel, more precisely) is now the most militarised place on earth.

To All Nations of World:
We are going to hold a confrence on non proliferation of nuclear arms in our Capital. We invite all nations to come to this confrence and urge them to send representives to the confrence. We must stop the massive build up of nuclear arms before it is too late. Even a misstake can cause the launch of these weapons and destroy the world.

Satellites will start to be lauched by Chinese government. Privitate busniess all already have their own communication satellites, and now the government will launch both spy satellites and millitary communication satellites.
Naval build up to Huge(6 years):
The Chinese navy in response to build up of Italy will start to build by their navy. Three more super carriers will be built. Also destroyers and attack subs and subs able to launch nuclear weapons will be made as well. The Chinese are also looking into using machine guns will computer controll to use them to shoot down missles and airplanes that get close to ships(US navy has a system already in place that can shoot down missles by tracking them with a computer and radar and sprying and missle will machine gun fire, thousands of rounds untill it blows up).

To world: Germany will also attend the non-proliferation conference.
Germany - Production:
Continuing German advancements in electronics have or are yielding many new applications, largely military: excellent communications systems, new sensors (including night vision &infra-red goggles), prototype cruise missiles and smart bombs, and various other uses. Implementation of these advances will take 2-3 years to complete.
With Germany seemingly on the brink fo war with Egypt, the government has approved a massively beefed up miltiary budget, with the increase mianly going on R & D and procurement. The main projects thta have been approved:
A new jet design from Messerschmidt, the Me-18, which incroporates even more advanced ECM measures, along with a number of new stealth innovations, and which is designed for both interception and ground strike missions, capable of performing both with exemplary effectiveness. This project will be complete within three years.
A new tank design, taking note of the new Chinese one, which is similar in oncept but employs better electronics, and is to be equipped to fire several new tpes of shells to penetrate the heaviest armour (an ECM shell, which will create a burst of energy strong enough to fry the tank's computer systems, and a concussion shell, which is designed to cause damage by making the enemy tank vibrate strongly enough for thing sto come apart, not to mention leaving the crew somewhat dazed). This will be complete in 4 years.
A sustained program for the devleopment of cruise missiles and smart bombs, which is expected to on indefinitely; workable models of both should be available within 2 years, and they will be available for large scale use within 4.
Finally, the German Air Force is to be upgraded in size to Imperial over the next four years, using all the enw equipment that is now under development.
Germany - Economy:
Due to numerous events which have brought great wealth to germany, the economy has now expanded to Grand world Leading - i.e., no-one else is even close.
Germany - Military Actions:
German special forces troops ar enow operating in Zaire in support of the rebels; the area has almost slipped out of Egypt's control.
