And I'd rather have the PCs heading up the right than the crazy-assed CA.

The only negative is that the Libs have increased their stranglehold on power, and will therefor probably not have to form a minority government with the NDP next time...

I still maintain Canada as a whole is incredibly stupid politically.

And the CA is no different.

The PCs are cool now, but they have a bad history and Joe Clark is a very iffy leader.

The Liberals have walked into scandal after scandal and mismanage billions of dollars each year, and their support goes up.

Conclusion: Canadian Federal politics suck as usual.

IIRC, Calgary is the #1 in economic growth, Edmonton is #3.

That covers both major cities in Alberta.

Suncor is trying to save its stock, it's put in too much investment to pull out, Frogger.

Just last week it was front-page news about a shelved project that was multi-billion dollars due to increasing costs and Kyoto uncertainty.

No, but it's not GROWING either.

I never said it was in a slide.

At least 3 major projects have been shelved that were supposed to begin in 2003, each worth billions of dollars.
