Oh yeah, like education isn't costing us enough as it is. I'd personally like to see an end to supporting the Catholic system myself, but I realize it's not bloody likely. Well, that's interesting. I can tell you, for a fact, that there a still a crapload of Catholic-with-a-capital-C schools in Central Alberta. I'm graduating from one this year, and I assure you, the doctrine is alive and well.

And yes, I realise it's hypocritical of me to want the gubment to stop funding Catholic schools when I attend one, but I figure, why not try and take 'em down from the inside, eh? Actually, by the time I figured out how wrong it was, I didn't really feel like throwing my social life into disorder by school-switchin' for the sake of idealism.

It seems to me that it's pretty much a relative term, what's Liberal in one country might be considered leftist in another. According to our spectrum, I'd say that our Liberal party is pretty much in the middle where it's supposed to be.

Ontario, in London. But I spent a number of years living in Victoria awhile back. I still wonder why I left sometimes. Especailly on days like today when it's -10 C outside. We've been having a cold snap lately that just doesn't want to go away.

I'm a sunny Lotuslander right now, even though I grew up in Northern BC in the freezing cold.

-10 there is balmy, a day on the beach this time of year.

Victoria is absolutely beautiful. I've always liked the fact they pride themselves on being more British than the Brits!

I'm still deciding which I like best, prolly end up where the work is though.
