Yes, if the world's alrgest standing armies had been possessed and deplyoed by the allies in 1939, Hitler would have been crushed quite easily. He wasn't ebcause the Soviets joined the Nazis, the Americans looked the other way, and the British and French were too terrified to actually try to invade Germany while they were busy.

I'm sorry to see you go Sheep, but having fun does not mean being able to pull a massive drafting of people so to make you army, navy and air force enlarge 3,4 or even 5 sizes in one turn, and claiming that the people would not protest for being exploited like that.

The Soviet Union was born because of a similar situation, and I thought that in the US it was more appropriate to have some sort of Civil War, or a "Southerner revenge" (since in those years black were still highly discriminated against in the south, and many southerners were still not very happy about being in the Union)

Furthermore, I have advised you, and all the people in this NES, that a too big expansion of the military would have resulted in major revolts.

China went throught it, Russia as well, and it lasted several game years, why should the US be different

Russian Revolts ended
After the recent speech of the Czar, saying he would allow a constitution, and go further, downsizing the military budget, the programs of the rebels was emptied, and the real Communist rebels were left without popular support.
As such the last Russian soldiers could easily locate and crush the last rebel stronghold in Astana (Kazakistan), and restore peace in Russia

American Revolutionaries takes power
The American Revolutionaries, helped by large chunkes of the military took power, defeating the government troops which were left without orders.
The Chief of the Rebels, a guy nicknamed SKILORD, is now in power in the United States, and the military troops who helped him get into power have pledged full alliance to him.

The New United States Government has made several decrees.

The Constitution and everything have been abolished, save the Bill of rights, which we'll keep, they are kept for reference in Washington, we will likewise retain the foundation of that Government, the Three seperate branches and the seperation of powers, this is apparently mostly a cosmetic change to herald in the new era. The new Constiturion of the United States is as follows:

We, the people of the New American Republic. We that have overthrown Dictators. We who hold freedom in our blood. We hereby declare that a new Republic will be instituted on our hallowed shores.

1. All Laws Save a flat income tax of 3% and a Nationwide Sales Tax of 7% will be abolished. The First tax will fund all welfare projects, which are apparently small in number, and very limited.

2. The Second tax will fund the Military. We will also begin a few corporations to make money for us.

3. We will hereby abolish all laws to govern the economy except for a single antitrust law, the Rockstead Law, named after the first Cheif Justice of this New Republic.

The Last Government forces defeated in the USA
The Last forces still loyal to the government were defeated in the USA, as the troops lead by General Custer, the grandgrandson of the same Custer which was defeated in Little Bighorn (or was it Wounded Knee??... whatever) have entered the city of Corpus Christi, capturing the old president Sheep,while he was trying to escape into Mexico.
Sheep was now broght back to Washington DC, where the new President SKILORD, will have to decide on his fate (OOC: this is an important decision, something too extreme (on one side or the other) might not be welcomed by the people).

German Electonios Update
Here are the results of the German Elections held in the Reichstag:
The Social Democrats seems to have won the elections, however the right-wingers still own the majority of the seats, so it will be a very difficult government for the Socialists, as they will have an hard time getting their bills passed on by the senate, especially since the Christian Democrats and the Conservatives seems to have united in order to prevent the Socialist to do, what in their opinion is, "a too big of a damage".
Here are the results:

The New President will take it as easy as the people will allow on him. The former leader will be imprisoned for life, though death is not an option for him, neither is torture.

The Aiforce is bieing upgraded and is now at Medium size. Most of the Focus of the Airforce is place on Fighters to defend the skies and heavy bombers. There are some ground attack planes but not that many.

In general I think many people have to large millitary force. I mean you have to think about how many people your country has and your economy. Portugal to France: As you have succeeded in killing half of our Army while in a cease fire with Portugal, we are extremely outraged. Portugese forces in Western France succeed in detonating all industrial/military/commerce related buildings throughout former portugal-occupied France as per arrangement.

This hurt more the economy than anything else, however a force the size of a small army was wiped out of the French military, and Naval production will be halted for several years.

Portugal notes once more that this was due to the VIOLATION OF CEASE FIRE by France, and the IGNORING of peace offerings by Portugal. Not to mention the Hundreds of thousands of Portugese that lost their lives unexpectedly because of the French attack.

We do not support the Quebecoise, but we think it is wiser to leave the Americas alone once and for all, that place is not a safe place for colonies anymore, it is better to let them free, and try to get them into economical ties with Europe, rather than fighting for it, and have the possibility to completely lose any influence over them.
