THe sad this for me is that today would have been perfect for me to get the game. Now when it comes to EB on the 26th, I dont think I can make it down there to get it! I already took a day off school for this damn game and I cant take anther day off!!! Why the hell does infogreed do this to us??????

Evidently, based upon the experience of myself and others, IG apparently doesn't consider the United States one of "20 major global countries" either

Lord of the Isles, I have the manual (pdf) and I don't see your problem. It is a completely normal manual just like any other. (I am not talking about the content, haven't had time to read it yet)

I contacted my store yesterday and they said they would have it on the shelves on Friday the 28th. This is for Australia so yes where are one of the 20 countries. Looking good for the weekend, worst case early next week.

I too ran all over town (Nashville, TN) looking for it. The first EB said the 26th, the second said the 27th, Mediaplay said 27th, Walmart said "late March", BestBuy was clueless.

I did pick up Splinter Cell for the PC though and hot damn it's good! So, not a total waste.

I saw an empty spot on the shelf at Walmart in KY at 2:00 am on the 26th. So, I assume that it was put in on 25th and sold out.

So, it did reach some stores on the 25th. Or they just made a spot for it and will put it in tomorrow(I hope this is the case).

Nah, Wal-Mary was just being efficient-like by having the space all set aside. I hit 2 in my quest on the 25th, both had the space, and neither had gotten it in yet.
I also went to to EB's which both said the 26th, and stop bugging us, CompUSA just knew they didn't have it, Best Buy said 2-3 days after the ship date, usually, but no specific info on this particular release, and Circuit City was clueless. *shrug*
So we get to play this game again tomorrow, only problem being that it only leaves me one day before the work-week starts and I have no free time until the beginning of next week. *sigh*
Oh well, we'll see what happens.

I asked my local games store about it (an Electronics Boutique in the Melbourne suburbs) and I was told the third of the third ... In other words they will get the game on 03/03/03.

The bad news is I won't have it this weekend.
The good news is, that date is so cool.

EVERY retailer I've called in the Greater Manchester area of northwest England is saying the 7th of March!!

'20 major countries', I think they may have meant '20 major states'.

On the 25th – Detroit, Michigan, USA metro area:

Best Buy (4 stores that I called) – should receive in our regular shipment on the 26th. Each store is expecting to get between 30-50 copies.

Circuit City (2 stores that I called) – clueless.

Media Play (1 store I stopped in at on my way to a construction site) – never heard of it??

Gamestop (2 stores I stopped by, 3 that I called) – it has been shipped to us, but no clue when it will arrive. Probable guess is by UPS late on the 26th or early on the 27th. Each store is only expecting between 3-8 copies.

Compcenter USA (1 store I called) – we have it. When I skipped lunch to go and pick it up they said “never heard of it”. At that point I called the person a “lying SOB”, complained to the manager, and got a 10% off coupon for any purchase of $250 or more. Also, the little zit faced punk got his arse fired. I was still hungry for the rest of the day however. The manager didn’t know when it was arriving but had 25 copies on order.

Wall Mart – Stopped by on way home from work – clueless.

Target, K-mart and Meijers – called one each – had trouble talking to anybody that worked in that area. Never did get any sort of satisfactory answers.

Well – better luck today.

What is wrong with the format? Like I said, if you are having trouble reading the font, zoom in. at 200% zoom level is has full quality (for me, atleast... it might differ on your resolution).

IG is based in France and what countries seem to have the game on the 25th? France and Germany.

What countries don't? The U.S., England and other allies.

What the hell is going on. Why do countries half way arround the world, and cities like Hong kong get the game on the release date, but the no damn stores in US have it!!! I hate this. The French must really hate the United States or something. All I want in the game, I have the money, you want it, so why not let the stores have it so I can give you my money and I can get my game????????????

Eeerrrrr...... I live in France and I assure you that IG isn't doing any favor to France: I phoned and checked with 3 of the biggest retail companies and none even knew about MOO3. I don't even know when it'll be released.

So I guess I'm stuck waiting for the UK release or getting it from Germany.

Baltimore, MD: White Marsh Mall EBgames has a bunch of copies. Haven't even put them on the normal shelves yet, so you have to ask them for it. But, I didn't preorder, and saw 30 or so copies, so plenty to go around.
