Ozymandous... check before posting. IG is based in France, but MoO3 IS NOT EVEN SCHEDDULED for release here.
I am waiting for my order to come from amazon Germany. So please stop with this story of 'other allies', it is not even funny.

But I've got my copy of the manual and the read me...

Just got off my night shift, dropped by Ballston Mall EB in Arlington, VA. Scored. Folks there aren't bothering to put it on the shelves, just have the non-reserved copies stacked around the register figuring it to be gone by 4-5pm.
Revving up the antimatter engines now....

Gamestop (Albany, GA) says they are holding a copy of the game for me as I type....but now I have to squirm in my chair for the rest of the day until quittin' time
Silly me...I didn't ask how much...is that sad or what?
PS: Actually, it is now Babbages that runs it...and they only got three copies. I asked them to hold it because it was the last one!

Got it at GameStop, Spectrum Mall in Phoenix. I called at noon MST and they had six unreserved copies. I reserved one and picked it up an hour later, and they only had one unreserved copy left. The GameStop employee said all Phoenix area GameStop/Babbage stores had copies when they opened at 10 AM, but from my experience they were going fast. The very nice end column display is sitting there temporarily empty.

Update from Nashville, TN:
None of the stores at Opry Mills had it, including EB. Nobody around Green Hills had it. Nobody around Hickory Hollow had it (including Best Buy and Media Play - whom now say the won't get it until next week).
Finally, I went to the EB near my house in Bellevue, the store that always gets things a day or two later than everyone else and they had 8 out of 15 unreserved copies sitting there. So I grabbed one.
Got home, started the installation, got up to about 70% and my machine rebooted. Try again, reboot at 20%. Third time, when I click on the SetUp.exe I get a blue screen. Try to reboot, just a big long beep. Powerdown wait 20 minutes, try again, can't load Windows.
So, I go upstairs and open my kids' machine and confiscate their hard drive. Bring it down stairs and put it in my machine. Only 900 megs free on an 80 gig drive! Not even gonna bother cleaning it out, just backed up the My Documents folder and a few save games that are in obvious places and reinstall Win2000, overwriting the entire drive.
So, let's try to install Moo3. 10% okay.... 30% okay... 50% okay... 62% and hearing lots of grinding... several minutes later... 70% okay... 95% okay... install complete! Woot!
Let's try to run the game! Doh! Gotta put in the other CD. Try again! Yes, Sweet Jesus it works! Play for 10 minutes then feel guilty about the kids machine.
So, I am about to run out and buy a new harddrive for them. Then I will still feel guilty and probably reinstall all their software. Then I will have to help them with homework, and make dinner.
*Sigh* maybe I'll get back to MOO before midnight tonight...

Report from the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area...
STUPID SNOW STORM!!!
Best Buy:
Order was due in today, but the various Best Buys in the Washington, D.C. metro area are still waiting on their shipment, which seems to have been delayed by the snow storm I'm going to try checking Best Buy again this evening to see if the shipment just arrives late, because it was supposed to arrive TODAY.
Electronic Boutique:
The people that work there are officialy clueless beyond belief (at all of the ones I called). That said, they don't have the game yet and I doubt they're getting it today.
Wal-Mart:
Same story is Best Buy. The shipment was due today, but the shipment hasn't arrived yet. The snowstorm is the likely culprit.
CompUSA:
All 4 of the CompUSA's in my area of Northern Virginia said that their shipment is scheduled to arrive on the 27th (tomorrow). Given that we're supposed to get another 4-8 inches of snow by then, it's doubtful that the shipment will arrive on time.
CONCLUSION: If it wasn't for all of these stupid snow storms, I'd already be playing MoO3 right now
I hold out hope, though... perhaps the shipment to Best Buy or Wal-Mart may yet arrive today, as there's only about 2 inches of snow on the ground at the moment...

UPDATE:
Girlfriend held my copy of Moo3 hostage in return for lunch delivery to her work.
Lunch delivered...Moo3 released into my custody at 2pm PST. ($46 CDN at cost BTW)
Considered calling into work with "Mad Cow Disease"...but since I've already been there half the day....
I need blinds for my office.
