The Constuction of the Great Pryimaids of Egypt comes along well. Allthough the current Pharoh will never see it, he will be buried in it though.
Pharoh Jack_www II has order the construction of new ships that can hold more people and supplies. Ten of these ships will be made and used to explore the seas around Egypt. These Ships will of course stay close to the shore.
Also anther Scouting party will be sent futher down the Nile and look for more places for our people to settle. Allthough their are reports their are tribes of people already living in those areas, and if so a army of War Chariots will be sent to move them as it were once their numbers can be detrimined.
Also a grainery in the capital and anther city futher down the nile are being built to store the excess grain.
To All Nations(which are in contact with Egypt):
We wish to sell our excess grain, as the fertile flood plains of the Nile make grow grain easy and thus we have lots of grain to sell. Thus if you need grain we can come to a deal.

Welcome to Antiquity. You will notice that most of you expanded more than usual, congratulations, the barbarians began to fall back totally.
-
The Quebecois Gauls lay dead on the field. Rome had conqured, Rome always would. General Africanus would ensure that, he would have to add another page to his history of the Quebecos now, their defeat, which would resound through history to the tune of the Roman marching band.
Grinning with anticipation he set his army to rest. They would need it for the next campaigns, to meet the Mowhawks. Africanus couldn't wait.
-
Iron was drawn from the earth by the new slaves, Gallic slaves. Brennus's conquest was repaid in full now, an eye for an eye, as the old Semerian saying went. The Iron would be finely molded into the swords that would ensure the conquest of their brethren.
-
The Welsh High Lords submitted themselves to the Druid nation, seeing the inevitability of defeat, they surrendered to the Druid empire. The Irish, on the other hand, shouted a war cry and shot their arrows at the ships as they dumped soldiers on the coast. They lost a good deal of land. But remain defiant.
-
The Phoenecian colonies of Carthage and Trapani were established, bringing them into the central Medditeranean. They could not take Crimea though they vanquished it's warlord, the Greek's newly established control of the Dardnelles stopped their settlers from reaching it. These settlers went on to Trapani instead.
-
Greece took control of the Agean sea, even a small part of Anatolia and a good deal of Eastern Europe.
-
The Pyramids were completed in Egypt.
The Poro Casai was finished in Hokkaido, adding to the glory of the Ainu.
The building of the Great Library is complete, and this turn will be spent collecting works to place in it, to complete it.
-
Amelaria ragained control of it's economy, through trade with Phoenecia.
-
The Urtalian attacks on Australia met with light resistance, advances were made, and rumors of war atrocities have wafted northwards to the Ainu and Chinese.
-
Mongolia took final control of Choybalsan, crushing the armies who opposed them. Keshiks began using Iron to destroy their enemies.
-
The Great Stone Capitail of Narbonne was finally completed in Semeria.
-
China finally beat a Japanese fleet on it's way to raid, the Japanese warlords have decided to stop raiding and defend themselves.
-
The Raiders of Phillistea laid waste to the Zulu Impis.

What? I said that the trade would be almost entirely unrestricted, that would lessen the control of the economy, not increase it!
Makuus II's son and the new King, Makuus III, was disgruntled with his aging great-grandmother Yinea's (she lived a very long time) influence and power in the government. He banished her from Amelaria, though she managed to ide in Karachi until she died. Makuus then began undoing the reforms of his father and grandfather. He often ignored the Council's advice, and finally stopped even letting them advise him at all. He also began returning power to the fading aristocracy and heavily taxing merchants. This all exploded when the King increased taxes for the first aggressive war Amelaria waged since Makuus I became King. The merchants, supporters of the Council, and the army all revolted. Makuus was quickly deposed and fled to Southern India. A man named Evissuai Loppotoc led the rebels and created a new government that would be known as the Amelarian Republic. Amelaria would be governed by two bodies, the Assembly and the High Council. The Assembly would be 101 elected representatives of the people. The High Council would be a more advanced form of the Council of the Twelve. It would have one representative from each of the twenty former great house of the various towns of Amelaria, including the Eleven of civman2000, the Royal House of Karachi, and the Silenus House of Chiefs. The heir to the Amelarian dynasty who would've been King under the former government, currently a second cousin of Makuus III named Pria III, would also be on the Council. The Council would include 5 elected representatives of the people, two elected leaders from the Assembly, and the top two miltary officials as well. Every twenty years or whenever a King died, the COuncil would elect two Kings from itself. Each King would appoint a chief advisor to be confirmed by the majority of the Assembly, called a Yinea in honor of the late architect of Makuus I and II's reforms. The Yinea are members of the Council as well, and whenever the King that appointed one of them is replaced they are replaced or reappointed.
Overall, the Assembly, High Council, and Kings share power more or less equally. Each has certain powers, most of which are to become established by tradition. Mainly, the Assembly alone has the power to raise taxes and call for a change of the government structure.
Orders: Grow army to Medium, Navy to Small. Equip the army with iron and wage offensive wars if necessary to secure sources of iron. Attack any nation that was friendly to Makuus III, including the one in Southern India that gave him refuge.

OOC: its only 3700 BC, don’t you think it’s quite early for iron? I think we should wait until at least the 2nd Millennium, possibly even the 1st, considering that’s when iron actually started to become widespread. If the goal is getting tech out there quickly, maybe the turns should encompass more time for a little while, perhaps 100 years/turn until ~2000 BC?
“Yes, it is time to make pictures standard, and numbers, too. Those merchants have the right idea. I’m tired of getting cheated out of our tax because of disagreements over how many Boulder’s worth of wheat is owed us. Pick one of those ‘alphabet’ systems operating; maybe simplify it a little so that it’s precise and efficient. Maybe correlate it to some system of weights or something. I don’t care what as long as it can be made standard.”
“Yes, councilwoman.”
Summary: Devise alphabet and number system, weights and measures etc. that can be standardized and applied across the nation.

Yes., I quiote agree, but I have several players breathing down my neck here, and it is done. Trust me, the Imperial age will tak a long time. It'll make up for it, now that I see support for slower tech.

Prince Jason

OOC: I have a few minutes in the morning inwhich I can post here and write.
IC:
The Gauls were becoming more and more easier to kill, the Golden Bowman tactics working with great success. High Lord Jason was very pleased with his armies, and their size. The navy also was showing thier complete knowledge of naval warfare.
With a surplus of army that did not need to be fighting or defending, Jason felt he needed to use it for the greater good of the Empire. The Grand Army was the best fighters in the known world to Jason, and he intended to find safe land for their families to live on.
His scholars had noted of a small civilization, not worthy to by neighbors to the Semerians, just south along a small peninsula. Jason had repeatedly been getting greetings from these peoples, and knew that they were in awe of the Empire. So, as nicely has he could be, he would compose a letter to the Emperor.
To Italian Romans,
We will allow you the benifet of joining our empire, should you wish too. If not, then your future does not look to good.
Signed,
High Lord Jason of the Semerians
ORDERS (these ones take priority over the past ones)
Equip all men with iron painted gold
If Romans don't join, use 1/3 of the Grand Army to launch a new campaign down the peninsula. 1/3 continue to man the Iberian defenses, the other 1/3 (veterans) to continue expansion into Gaul (Golden Bow Tactics)
IF they do join, set up an local government in their lands, answerable to me.
1/3 navy to contnue aiding Druids. The other 2/3 to continue scouting east and west (half and half) in the arctic.
Expand army and navy
