Rec'd from Nuclear Winter of RP. I guess we can go along with the conversion to catholicism - unless any one has great objections  . Not sure what he is talking about with respect to the tech agreement. I will ahev to go back and check.

I have heard that your people still worship fiends and demons, and I will do all in my reach to preach these ideas of freedom, and I hope the Persian government supports me. In case you do support it, just let me know and the Holy Pope will do the oficial introducing of your kingdom in the Catholic faith, and the designation of Voxian cardinals.

Rhoth - agreed. I informed vondrack of RP's request. Here is his response - which I will post in this thread to maintain the continuity. It will be useful - no necessary for us to have a Lego's stance with various nations.

RPers have been bombarding us with requests for help for a couple of days now. But we are not going to help them in any way. Keep this to yourself, but... if there is any team we consider a true 'enemy', it's RPers. They have been the most difficult team to deal with, greedy, unhelpful, demanding, always trying to antagonize others against us... we do not care if they are hit and suffer. Fine with us, even if the balance of power shifts.
We do have Chivalry, but cannot trade for 20 turns (got it from GoW). I believe that RPers are well prepared for a war and that even a combined effort of GoW+ND will end up in a general bloodshed - and that is fine for all non-Bobians.

at least now (And perhaps for the whole game, if not king at least try to be kingmaker)

Received from the Pope's Emissary - Nuclear Winter - and my response. I was thinking we could start the Vox Reform Church - which woul dtake all teh catholic values and basically - well take the opposite stance. We would say we are members of 'the church' but it would bear no resemblance to theirs. Is anyone on the team a catholic - and would be offended by some very non-catholic positions? Please let us know - because we can take another route or just politely decline.

Hello Dear NW. Yes it has been awhile. My apologies for our lapse in contact. We have been - er - very busy with the exodus from our homeland. But things are looking up. And with a brighter future, the people of Vox may value a depper spritual understanding of the world. I will approach them with your proposal, and if necessary, arrange that you can chat with the members.
As to engineering - it is up this turn. So we will put it on the table.
As to deals for luxuries - yes - we will be intersested. We will have none. It may be a few turns before we need them - but I'm sure we can reach a deal.
Also - I owe BF a closure note on Chivalry - which we do not have unfortunately - and will not have for some time.

Although maybe your team has many objections with becoming part of the church, just let me know and Iīll try to clear the doubts from their minds. If your team decides that after all this wonīt fit them RP-wise, then it is ok, just drop me a line and let me know.

PS:. Out of this, do you have any preview of when will the engineering deal be ready? Or if it is still up?
And about future trades with RP your team may want, just contact me, I am sure we could get to a nice deal on luxuries, if your population needs them... or strategic resources, maybe?
