Ah, but that's where the difference kicks in.

Being a cook is fun, but making dinner (3 course meal à la carte )for 140 people in 2 hous isn't.
Let me put differently;
a cook = the amature (amature in the good sense)
a chef = the proffesional
-
Never received any (school)trainning, started by doing the dishes and before I knew it...
Especially the first year was eugh strange. Ever saw 'chef' by Lenny Henry, well multiply that by a factor of 5

Are there any non-BBC programmes on Belgian TV? You seem to have seen everything.

Inflate your Upload Space

I watch more BBC then any national tv, so
-
That's has been on every channel anyway though.
-
The last years we do have a trend of getting localised versions
On dutch TV there's 'Have I got news for you'
'Millionaire' and all the others..

Well I'm obviously late on this, and this may have already been expressed (and perhaps refuted), but I don't think we should build a wonder (at least one that would be useful in a war) in a costal city. IMHO any costal city will fall to a dedicated attack (at least until rail roads), and it would be very unfortunate to lose ST at the opening of a war.
I would personally prefer to get almost any other early/mid medieval wonder (SC, JSBC, LW, in that order), but since we are at the opening of a war I understand the desire to use him right away (and agree). In my calculation building an army (+ HE) is only worth it if we have 48 more elite victories, and we have to consider what wonders we would use those later leaders on. Certainly in SP I find these medieval wonders the ones leaders are best for.
So ST sounds good to me, although it's certainly not ideal.

ST is good not only for our prosecution of the current war, but for denial to the other teams.

The Sistine, as much as I love it, isn't nearly as valueable as usual, since the difficulty bug reset us to chieftain, and happiness is therefore a cinch (Bach would be a good one, though).

Leos would certainly be nice, so we can do a mass WC -> Knight upgrade.

By the way, I know we're in the middle of a war, but we could punch out the Colossus in Hurricane really quickly... should we start thinking about that? Bear in mind that if Lego builds the Colossus, they get a GA (they're Carthage, right? Ind/Comm. Pyramids covers Ind, Col would cover Comm).

I wholeheartedly agree. Regarding our choice, I just wish that we could have used this one on Leo's Workshop right now.
For the record, this was already expressed in this discussion. Also, the decision so far is to build ST in Cyclone, which is not coastal.

Good point.
How many more GA turns have we got left?

There are certainly many "non-war" reasons to build ST (one of them definitely being denial to other teams), but it's still a wonder I would hate to lose in the opening stages of a war.
That is a good point with Lego, although there might be advantages to a powerful Lego team on the other side of Bob (I know the world is cylindrical so they're also next to us, but I think they would primary be threatening bob). 1) The more they worry about another threat the less they'll focus on us 2) in the case of a Bob hegemony, or alliance (however unlikely) they would be a very valuable ally. Maybe we could make an agreement with them to "allow them to get the Colossus" in exchange for something, or to sweeten a tech deal.

Hmm, not a bad idea Randolph,
Where not in a position to build one ourselves ATM anyway IMO.
(pfff, why would we if we can spawn GL's at will . Ack I shouldn't tempt the RNG lords, should I )
