Astrologix should be allowed to join Apolyton as an observer, as requested, immediately. If he wanted to divulge information to Apolyton member's, he does not need to be a member of this team to do so. So, keeping him out would not prevent that from happening.
As far as him becoming an active Apolyton member, that is another question. I see no problem with him offering his advice in the forums on how to deal with GCA or CFC. But, he has info about the other civs that we do not know that may affect what we do or think about GWT or another team.
When will the information he knows about the other teams become moot to Apolyton? Maybe never(the end of the game), maybe soon. Who's qualified to answer this question? I don't think anyone is more qualified to know this than Astrologix himself.
I'm sure there were some member's of CDG that knows things about GCA that we do not know. Are they allowed to join our team and divulge that information now? How can any person who joins this team, from another team, keep the information he or she has seperate from his or her opinions about our team in this forum? As much as one would try to forget what has transpired in the past, one cannot completely expunge that from their mind's while offering legitimate advice for another team.
I offer that no one be allowed to join any other team in an active role unless all teams unanimously vote to allow such a move. This vote should be based on a a "from this team to that team" basis. Otherwise, we should allow any other team member, from an extinct team, to join as an observer only.
Would we at Apolyton vote to allow CDG member's to join GWT or even CGN? Think about that for a minute before you decide. What would those members know about us, that we don't want the other teams to know....

To avoid any complications, I suggest that he is allowed to lurk only, until we get a "good idea" of what's going on on the other continent (which probably involves World Maps).
Some people are very touchy about these matters...let's not make any enemies at the UN.

not to mention the team(s) that defeated his. If he was a visible member of Grenouille, and there was some nastiness or whatnot involved, he might bring a taint over with him, especially if he is unfettered. A lurker only, or for parts regarding the unknown continent, would hopefullly assuage any fears of our opponents, but who knows. A whole lot of messiness, this matter.

I want to explain my nickname. Probably many of you have read 'Niessuh' from right to left, and thinks that I have some kind of affinity with the celebrity. Absolutely not. I post that nick due to the first game which I won in Deity level, playing with the Babylonians and without attacking nor once a single neighbor. I read english fine, but for me it's difficult to write it. That is because I learned it reading from all kind of strategy games, like Battletech or Warhammer 40K, so don't expect long existentialist post coming from me.
About Astrologix, it should be a thorny matter, but everything what I can say is that Astro is the most legal player than I know. He introduced me to the world of the PBEM and without a doubt his intention to enter here is for keep enjoying the greatest event of his favorite game. Just like me
