Just a sidenote: seeing more low-count posters wishing to join may be a result of the newZ update posted by MarkG few days ago. Many people learned there was such a thing going on and might decided to join. There is nothing that will help you improve your Civ skills as much as watching masters play.

BTW, I think we should name an Air unit after you, with clouds being mostly in the sky and such. Maybe a nice Stealth Bomber? Doesn't that seem appropriate?

Yes, it seems appropriate

It doesn't sound right- but when you imagine it- it looks right better than a DarkCloud Battleship or Cruise Missile indeed...

although the DarkCloud Destroyer could also do good...

but still- the DarkCloud Stealth Bomber would truly be appropriate- (ex: The DarkCloud Stealth Bomber has just bombed Moskovy)

Hi,

I understand your concern for spies, and yes I created my account on Apolyton the same day I tried to join IDG. The reason that I created was to join IDG, as I wrote in on of my post is that I usually dont like to write posts at office, but I have been following DemoGame almost from the beginning. I also have wrote something about my playstyle in PTW/CIV3 in the thread on page 14.

Some private things about myself, I'm 38 year male, married, 2 kids, live in a house in Stockholm Sweden.
Work in telecom at company called Ericsson with 3G-systems. You find pics from my house and kids on (site address provided to BetaHound).

I do play a lot of CIV3/PTW on my free time but have never played multiplayer, (excep some on CIV 1 net).

I hope this clarify your questions.

Hi guys, just a quick post to thank you for letting me in. I'm a long time lurker on Apolyton, and before that I was very involved in fan fiction for SMAC (maybe a few of you remember me as 'Elemental', who knows).

I have to say that I love the idea of an intersite DG; I've been very interested in these kinds of collaborative massively multiplayer games (and after all, there must be hundreds of people collectively playing this DG) and how people interact - I run a website at http://www.mssv.net that talks about these types of games, and I was heavily involved in the AI web game made by Microsoft a couple of years back.

Anyway, rest assured that I'm not a spy, I'm not a member of any other Civ sites, and I don't see the point of spoiling the game in that way. Thanks again.

Anjin Sushi has played the last 3 GOTM's over at CFC. Hasn't participated much in the forums though (13 posts). I'm in charge of checking the GOTM submissions for fishy stuff each month, and Anjin's games are always clean. I certainly would vouch for his honorability.

I just want to say that I have been reading and re-reading Fried-Psitalon's threads in the PTW forum... and I am damn glad he is on board with us.

I suggest his posts as homework for the team. Especially us Strat forum people... his writing style is very effective in considering the jump from SP to MP, for me at least.
