April, 2002

North America

Cuba has begun its massive conscription program. Over 50,000 men have been rounded up so far and forced to join the military.

Everyone's assets is frozen everywhere!! Added to the nukings of New York, Biejing, and Seoul, the world economy has plummeted into a second Great Depression!! (no country with economy higher than 12)

Due to the new depression, many Americans are calling for the impeachment of the new Tassador.

Small progress has been made cleaning up the mess in the Northeastern US. It is suspected over 200 billion dollars will be needed in all.

An attempt to cripple the US military system is an utter failure, as only a handful of priest succeed. The rest didnt even try, either to afraid or too old.

South America

A new ruler has taken control of the politically and economically fragile Brazil. Sheep and marched his army on Brasilia, declaring himself as Emperor. In response, Argentina has cut off thier alliance.

South Columbian rebels run to the mountains on the border between Columbia and Ecuador, and in the following battles the Columbian army unsuccessfully attempted to push them into the nearby neighbor.

Europe

The European Alliance invades France!! The French military was able to withstand the first blows from Spain, but when Germany and Italy moved in, the French Army promptly surrendered. Riots are daily, and people demand thier wine which has been locked and stored in the Popes private cellar in Switzerland.

Right before, Spains government was seized by a Catholic religous government. The people made the transition quiet easily.

Much like in North America, Europe's economy collapses and people are largely unemployed or poor.

Belarus, Lithuania, Latvia, and Kazakhstan join the new USSR!! Due to the new depression, coups and propaganda campaigns in these countries have succeeded. The Ukraine has been split into two factions over it, and people in Uzbekistan and Tajikstan are trying to overthrow thier governments to join.

The economical sitaution in the USSR, while bad, has been controlled through state funding and help programs.

Greece and Turkey sign peace at Salonika. The Salonika Agreement hands over Cyprus to full Greek control, and places Turkish occupied lands in Turkish hands for a 50 year lease. Then a vote is to take place on whether to stay Turkish or go back to Greece.

Military installations in Germany destroyed by US presence!! The bases have been either burned or bombed, along with a great deal of infrastructure. No damage was done to the German Army itself, which was away in France.

Middle-East

Iraq quickly makes peace with the defeated Saudis, gaining huge oil fields.

Iran invades Iraq!! The Iranian Army runs far into the east, stopping only when the Iraqis came back from Saudi Arabia. The fighting has begun in the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, near Baghdad.

Israel joins Papal States and Germany in thier alliance.

Asia & Oceania

US and China sign peace. In the wake of the devastating war, a new democratic government was set up in China. The economy is stuggling as usual, but many think its potential is great.

In Korea, Southern Korea has finally received help from Japan. The two countries push together at the tired and hungry DPRK Army. They have been pushed out of South Korea, and are being pressed into Pyongyang.

Thailand invades Burma!! The Burmese people rejoice at the "invaders" as they continually trounce the Army which is split between rebels and the government.

Last mobs cleared out in Australia. The economy has suffered greatly, dropping to almost third world proportions (-7 levels)

Africa

Coup in Egypt!! General Darius Setenpenra has grabbed hold of the country, abolishing the governemnt and making himself Paraoh. Tons of patriotic Egyptians join the army, draft or no draft.

Afraid of the new government of Egypt, Libya and Sudan have begun to mobilize thier military.

Trade revenue from the Suez Canal stops, making the Egyptian economy dip.

Morocco finishes off the rebels in Western Morocco, but by a released statement they "vow to return, and bring the Western Sahara independance and jihad against Morocco".

Arazim company
OOC azale I'll start writing from now only 3 turns to the tech...

In the Labs owned by Arazim several new discoveries were taken. Several new medicions, new types of weopns. but nothing out of the usual...
As the company grew it begun to enter into more buisness types. Many new factories were being built all over the world by Arazim, espaicaly in poor areas wich cannot help themselves.
Also in new China, USA, and all over europe factories and investments were being made.
Money from the Company was given to countries that gave her premition to build factories. Afrrican countries became stronger from this money, but nothing serius.

Arazim company when it entered the computers buisness had a great economic fight with Microsoft. (thats for you azale to choose who will win in this economic war).
Also in other countries against other companies economic "wars" begun.
Arazim have grown much powerfull when "eating" it's smaller opponets and destorying it's bigger ones...

As stats all I should have it's just economic status, and maybe also main compnaies I control (like planes, railroaddds, cars ships and other stuff...)

Immediatly make it illegal for Arazim Co. to hold any stock or own any property in Papal States, Italy and Spain. Advise Germany to do the same. They are also forbidden to trade, owing to their unfair business practices. All Arazim property in these Catholic Zones to become property of the church, and used for the employment of the masses of new-unemployed. Work towards a new European Economy that imports nothing from outside (expect oil, I suppose we have to)

To USA : We're keeping a wary eye on you, and we're still not buying any American products, or allowing US firms to trade in the Catholic Zone.

To Germany : Corination soon? European Empire?

To Egypt : We welcome your initiatives for peace in Africa. You have the blessing of the Pope in every good deed that you do.

HOHENZOLLERN CROWNED EMPEROR OF NEW HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE!
Yesterday, after the successful invasion of France, throngs of members of the European Alliance gathered to cheer on Chancellor Hohenzollern of Germany as he entered the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles to sign the peace treaty with France's new government. Then, after a solemn ceremony, the Chancellor was crowned by the Pope, who recited a solemn oath to God in Latin. The new empire will include Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria, the Papacy, and Italy, most of which shall keep their respective governments while under the Emperor. Word is that France will be partitioned and that Switzerland and Austria shall become German Landern, though there is no confirmation for either.

PARTITION OF FRANCE
To Germany: Artois, Picardy, Champagne, Alsace, Lorraine, Burgundy, Savoy, Nice

To Spain: Languedoc, Gascony, Guienne, Limousin, Poitou, Berry

To Papacy: Provence (including Avignon), Dauphine

Normandy-Brittany and Corsica to be proclaimed independent within the Empire. France proper to be reduced to Country of Paris.

OTHER REORGANIZATIONS
North Italy goes to Germany, South Italy to the Pope. The Italian government will be compensated by being offered positions within the German part of Italy.

ACTIONS (For now)
-Submit a plebiscite to the people of Austria and Switzerland asking them if they want to be united with Germany.
-Proclaim Spain, Germany, France (or what's left of it), Italy (same here), Austria, and Germany to be under a Confederative Monarchy (explanation given on request).
-Begin economic restoration of the Empire. In doing so, ban Arazim Co. from the Empire and seize all installations that have not been seized already for the use of the Empire.
-Make Latin mandatory teaching in middle school and up throughout the Empire.
