kid, yes by strangers... people i know ask me when they first begin to know me but quickly they realize how moral i am and stop asking though they always do say i got to be doing **** secret cause of my chinky eyes.

but a 22 is easily concealed i know... is it much more expensive than $350? and how about a used gun? what do you think would be the price reduction on that?

22 is very cheap I think. There is some psychological advantage to having a more powerfull gun though I think. God forbid you should be in a shooting match with another person with a gun though, but if you are you want the bigger gun.

i'd need something along the lines of a 22 cause they got guards who check you in the mall and in the movie theaters and all that but boys always sneak them in... i know the good way to conceal them... but how much would they cost?

I don't know for sure. Maybe 200 dollars. I have to say that I don't think it's a good idea to bring it around with you unless you know there is a high danger for that particular outing. It's probably better to just take a beating and lose you cash. With a gun the consequences can be worse.

kid, how about registration fees? i heard something about how they can be ridiculously high now? how much should that be to register a handgun and to get a concealed weapons permit? will i need to take classes to get a permit or is money enough?

I think you have to take a safety class. I had my hunting liscence before I bought my gun so I was good. This was over 5 years ago. There are fees, not outrageous though.

whats your estimate of a cost? i'm trying to see how much money i should get together... and how long does that whole background check nonsense take? i got no record so it shouldnt be a problem but how many days/weeks do it take? please only a few days...

The background check is either 10 days or 2 weeks, I can't remembe which one. Just call gun shops tomorrow. It will run you a couple hundred for sure. You should be able to come up with the cash eventually. You still have to take your safety course. I took mine at Big 5 sporting goods.

Maybe get some pepper spray, and some other self defense equipment like a noise maker.

I got my pepper spray at Big 5. They have other self defense there too. They will probably try to sell you a shotgun. Those are good for home defense. They have other self defense stuff too. K-mart or Walmart has that stuff too I think.

i doubt it mrmitchell... there was a couple half a block down who saw the whole thing plus a couple people driving by... i dont think the noise maker would have helped... might have attracted the two cops who were checking out a house a couple blocks up though. i dont know.
