It is preserved. I guess that is on, anyway it has the blue selection. I did not spend any time making it special, only generated a map and slapped a cow and wheat down. I moved the start location to the coast.
All the selections are on up to the point of the RNG, after that all are off, but the culture thing.
If you download it and then load the save up, it will set the selections. You can then start a new game and those selections are carried over. This is a way to see what was chosen.

It is a long story, that is documented in the UP thread.
In short fane7 was going to show me, us, how to get a leader by 3150 and or make all wonders in one city.
It was suggested that he use one of the AU games, but he requested a game that was huge map, China as the start civ on the coast with cow and wheat near and raging barbs. So I tossed this one up to met the bill.

was that a leader by 3150bc or ad hehe Its 290AD for me and I don't have 1 yet Of course the largest civ, (japs next door) just built the smith trading company, and I'm just at the middle age

Yes it may come to pass that nothing is proven, except you cannot listen to him. We will soon see, as he entered GOTM23. This means that either it will show the skills or lack of or it will be a no show. That is the same as a lack of in my book. So either here or CFC we will find out how much was B.S. In the mean time, I am giving him all the rope he ask for.
BTW the way I could have done without the analogy. It really has no place here.

Thanks vmxa1. I downloaded file.

As I said before, the latest Chinese version I can find is civ1.21f&PtW1.14f, so I wish I can load your savefile. ( I can't load your the ausg001 savefile in my PtW. ;-( )

Everyone can have a try , please . If you haven't enough selfconfident to build more Wonders, please see my uploaded savefile in UP, Using Greece I built almost all ancient Great Wonder in Athens.

I'll do it if no one else wants to I'll do it, I just need vmxa1 to send me the scenario file if it was started as such (I think scenario files are compatible regardless of version)

I got to tell you, I made no effort to do anything other than gen the map and force player1 as China on the coast. I gave them a cow and wheat nearby and never even looked at the rest of the map. It has raging barbs, so if you want that changed let me know. It is the latest patch, but I think they work with the previous one as well.

is it possible that he has a tweaked version of the game which gives you a leader every 1-2 elite victories instead of the normal 1/16 chance (1/12 with heroic epic).

if so, it shouldn't be a problem at all to get all wonders, even on deity!

I thought elite production chances were hard coded into the game. Meaning the only way you can change it is to save and reload.

hard coded doesn't mean that someone might have found that "hard code" it's hidden somewhere in the compiled code...

master zen: i don't know of any such version. it would be nice to be able to customize the promotion and leader generation chances...

rhothaerill: i checked some of his savegames he postet in the UP-thread with c3mt. there were a lot of reloads, but in approx. 10 reloads he had about 20 turns and 4 leaders... so it can't have been the reloading by itself.

I can't load vmxa1's game, I load Master Zen's game.

I wish more player can download MZ's game , and we can play this savefile together.

I found this file is not-huge map, and have less 16 civs, so it's not very hard as I thought before. I wish you will like it.

Yesterday my leader appeared at 3150BC, very lucky!

But I can sure , if you can check savefile like this , you should be able to modify the Leader-Create-Chance, and create more Leaders.

Unfortunate , it seems that you can't create more.

We can consider a situation like this:

You have a savefileA, you save this file as savefileB, so you can play with savefileB.

After Leader appeared by using savefileB, you can too create Leader by using savefileA in same way.

Yes my save was created with 1.27F for PTW. It is not compatible with any other than 1.21F and 1.27F.
MZ made it as a 1.14F version. Did I forget to set it to huge?
